5/11/2022 7:26am Pretty sure this was invented entirely for guys who bought a trust fork and want to double down on degrading their riding experience. Luckily for neken those type of guys ride in packs and have money to spend.

5/11/2022 7:25am 30 years ago, I had the exact same thing.... was called a girvin flexstem it worked like a normal stem, but had a little skateboard truck bushing in it to give around 1 inch of bar travel. At the time it was pretty revolutionary and worked pretty good. I remember going to a skateboard shop in the early 90's, buying out all their bushings to figure out which one worked best. I've been puzzling with suspension ever since

5/11/2022 7:24am Re: Neken stem Sometimes more is more, sometimes it's not. We all want a more comfortable and controlled ride. To that end, many riders want to add all the suspension: tires, rims, spokes, chassis, stem, bar, grips, gloves. The problem is that not all of it is effective at the same frequency or amplitude, and those that act on the same frequency and amplitude are not always of the same quality. For example, imagine if you wanted to create a DH set-up. You could take two XC air springs and dampers and just stack them on top of each other...

5/11/2022 7:22am "Man, it's rough out there on the track today. I either need to add some high speed compression, bump up my fork pressure, add some low speed compression, add a token, pump up my tires, add a front tire insert, raise my bars, or increase the psi in my stem suspension. One or the other, I think."

5/9/2022 4:33pm Palmer has allegedly made millions over the years. He's also made some very bad decisions. While I feel for the dude there are so many people currently in more need of help IMO.

5/9/2022 9:03am I think the point made earlier stands. 4 years ago the bike I spend $12k on putting together and customising to my liking over 3 years was stolen. Insurance lapsed, no CCTV, etc. Gone. Did anyone help? No. If I had set up a gofundme page would I have amassed $10k? No. Have I got a bike now, all those years later? No. I appreciate he has given something to the community, but really? Whatever. He lost some gear. Living in the US is like living in the Wild West - none of this is a surprise outside of the...

5/6/2022 10:09pm While I got certain aspects of your point (we can all agree that people lack decency when talking on the internet), I have to disagree for the rest. For sure it's a shitty situation and having money or not does not erase the trauma caused by an assault or a theft. But we need to stop this fucking trend of asking money from the average joe because you are well known and will trigger their sensitivity. Let's be honest, if tomorrow I am mugged and my belongings are stolen, I doubt you will take me seriously if I come to...

4/25/2022 4:45pm I got the Garmin Forerunner 945 a few years ago, as it had the same functionality as the top end Fenix at the time (i.e. power, BT, music, messaging, O2 sat), but at a reduced weight. I have narrow, spindly wrists, and heavy watches tend to rattle around unless I cinch them crazy tight. Regardless, the 945 does everything, has...
