One can assume they don’t care about 30€ springs if they’re selling much more expensive shocks,forks,droppers,axs,zipp eccetera. After all they’re called rock shocks not rock springs

I get the feeling but in the other hand... Just own it. They are the ones who are out in public, they should expect to have pictures taken. Look at all the spy shots of proto cars that are making the rounds.

Why is it that in 2020 all the shots of prototype bikes being used in public areas the pictures look like they were all shots on a Nokia from 2003 ?

Sorry for the crappy camera. Really good looking bike. High pivot, idler, massive front triangle with bottle cage bolts for whatever reason. Had an aluminum extension at the rear axle, probably to test different lengths. Full carbon everywhere else. Shock layout looked very similar to a devinci Wilson, or a 2020 Specialized Enduro, but a bit more inside the frame and forward. Reminds me of that prototype cannondale from last year, minus dual shock.

7/26/2020 4:39am There shouldn't be any issues, since the shimano website says the rotors are compatible with organic and metallic pads. Since the bike is specced with 203mm rotors from the factory, you should just be able to bolt on the brakes and go.

Could be the crush washer. But also can be that when you squirted the 10CC of oil through the bottom hole of the lower that some of the oil went into the the actual damping rod hole. So when you put it back together, the stuff that got into where the screw goes into the damping rod is just leaking out of the rebound adjuster because of gravity. Has happened to me before. Not a big deal if that's what's going on.

Suspension has always been mix and matched, not all manufactures make both pieces or sizes that would fit. Just don't mismatch brakes

Am I seeing things or are those water bottle mounting bolts? On a Dh rig? Maybe this is a freeridey kind of deal? Or maybe Mirco is just trying to flex on all the brands that haven’t managed to fit a bottle mount on their enduro bikes?

Okay, given the layout, it actually can't have a brace, that was a brainfart from me. There looks to be no pivot in the rear, so looks like it's a flex swingarm, ala XC bikes that are popular lately. As for there being a pivot by the axle and 'not being a high pivot', em... what? The axle path and the position of the IC define it as a high pivot since it has those characteristics.
