It would help, the speeds would be lower. People could still be rowdy, but if they crashed, they wouldn't ragdoll as much.

Oh, I dont know. Motorsports spec's parts in order to control this. I am not sure that that is feasible. Perhaps the way will be to stop creating boring, straight line tracks and start introducing rocks, roots, and turns into the runs. Self preservation will lead to slightly saner riding. Honestly, the DH tracks over the last couple of years, for the most part, have been really boring.

Hey Guys, another update. Austin was one of the first people I called after getting hurt. We're buddies and talk/ride together fairly regularly. I let him know what was up and wanted to confirm that he was staying in Europe for the next month like I thought he was. He's racing Maribor this weekend and isn't planning on coming back home until after the WC in Switzerland next month either way. That was good news as he's easily ready to go if I pull out. I also contacted USAC to make sure they get him everything he needs to compete...

You're a prick. He's not greedy you self righteous nitwit. He got his value on the market when he could based off what he rightfully produced on course and off at the time. He and most others are going to starve next season and probably a few to come because of all this Covid crap. USAC is such a poor fit for MTB, especially for gravity-based MTB. Evidently the young DH hooligans were heckling USAC officials at Winter Park this year. Though I don't condone disrespect, I can see where they're coming from. The USAC officials looked like a bunch of bird watchers and the types of people who probably lobby their city council to tear down dirt jumps.

After reading all this, I only have a couple of comments.. 1) My head hurts. 2) Like someone else said, the next Root'd podcast should be great. 3) Show me anything USAC hasn't screwed up.
