3/9/2023 9:26am Sam Hill and Richie Rude back to racing DH, awesome. Related, on Payson Mcelveen's podcast recently, Martin Maes said he sees himself going to DH full time as soon as he wins an EWS overall. I'm paraphrasing a bit there, but that's essentially what he said.

3/9/2023 9:16am Quote at the bottom of the Richie video: “ IT’S BEEN HUMBLING SEEING YETI WORK HARD TO BRING A DH RACE BIKE TO LIFE WITHOUT COMPROMISE. AFTER LEAVING THE SPORT ALMOST TEN YEARS AGO IT’S EXCITING TO GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE INVOLVED WITH ANOTHER YETI SPECIAL PROJECT. RACING ENDURO OVER THE PAST DECADE HAS BEEN REALLY FULFILLING, BUT I AM EAGER TO EXPLORE DH AGAIN. I WANT TO PUSH MYSELF AT HIGHER SPEEDS AND GET IN TUNE WITH THAT DH MENTALITY AGAIN AND IDEALLY BRING THOSE BENEFITS OVER TO ENDURO. WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT, I JUST WANT...

3/9/2023 8:26am It's a shock version of the totem. Called the scrotem. I'm guessing it'll be extra supple and sensitive.

3/1/2023 3:47pm Just in case you were considering buying anything from ABUS: From Wiki..... Family ownership; exclusion of women from management The company continues to be owned by the Bremicker family. In the 2013 list of the 500 richest Germans, published annually by Manager Magazin, the family is ranked 422nd; its assets are estimated at €300 million. The family belongs to the evangelical exclusive wing of the Plymouth Brethren (Brüderbewegung), a church movement that originated in the 19th century. The family's religious orientation also affects the company, whose mission statement is shaped by the church's principles. Equal participation of female family members...

3/1/2023 11:35am 10/10 Noah I did do some math and stared at a dyno for a long time. It's frustrating to read stuff stated as fact that is not correct.

3/1/2023 10:04am Steve- changing HSC does nothing to your rebound setting (on either SDLX air or coil). I'll need to see your dyno graphs proving otherwise.

2/23/2023 9:35am This looks to me like a new fork. It definitely looks beefier than the old 32 mm https://esmtb.com/rockrider-race-940s-nueva-doble-rockrider-racing-team/

2/22/2023 9:49am This is not based on any insider info, but I'm betting it's something in a new product category for them. There was a story in BRAIN alluding to this last year: With CNC cranks coming back in vogue lately, it would be cool to see an I9 option.

2/22/2023 8:20am I pulled the trigger on a Ribbon 140 for the Norco Optic I just picked up. Got a couple good and varied rides on it so far, and can confirm that it's as good as any fork I've ridden. Even felt good just above freezing, which is impressive. I'm 195 lbs and my other fork is a Mezzer 170 on a 27.5 Patrol that I have set up so I don't find bottom unless things get a little spicy. I set the Ribbon up 2 psi over their recommended, did the negative pressure at +10, LSC at -5 from closed...

1/19/2023 9:52am I used these cheapies from Amazon* this year and found them quite good. I wish they were a bit longer, but at least they don't look like capris. I'm a long-legged 6'2" and 185 lbs. *they've gone up in price since I bought them
