Thanks for all the great content and solid reviews Vital! Looking forward to some fresh 27.5 bikes. Big wheels work well for lots of people but not for me. My Big wheeled bike is up for sale.

I don't quite believe this yet. They literally just came out with a brand new DH bike that they went as far as doing full carbon on. The amount of time and $ that went into that seemingly would be way too much to just go and cancel it 12 months later after a test season with a middle pack rider.

WTF. The hucks are big enough without the added consequence of all the runouts in over half of those. Threading the needle at 30 mph after hucking 25 ft stair gaps is straight up gnarly. That bridge drop to pole tag to head smash at the end was what was going through my mind the entire vid. I don't think anyone touches him in this realm in MTB. BMX street riders are just as nuts and send absurd shit but the amplitude on the DH bike is hard to match.

Who thought it is a good idea to use 50 shades of grey and Orange/More Orange/Kinda Red colours for those graph lines? :D Otherwise it's super interesting stuff. Especially the trends over time. Also funny to see how much money US people get thrown at them. My bike is above average value but my income is way lower than you have in "under $$$".

glad JCL had the balls to say that lol! now to the bigger issue you say your popping off everything on the way up?!? no one should be caring enough speed up hill to be popping off things its bad for the trails and dangerous for biker coming down the trails.

Do you have any proof that it isn't true? from what I've seen i think he nailed it. Most pros only post pics and videos of e-bikes to please sponsors. kinda like how a lot of pros posted pics of fat bikes and plus sized tires in the past even though behind the scenes it was common knowledge that no pros used them. Don't forget pro's are paid to sell bikes for the sponsors and the sponsors want to sell e-bikes.

do you see many rocks? its literally all smooth sculpted dirt. less weight at the wheels probably helps with spins and tricks.

technique can help but its not the only thing lol tell me more about your technique after you ride whistler in august for a few days straight. Those braking bumps give zero fucks.

Shimano still wants to keep their Freeza rotors strictly to centerlock hubs only. This is an interesting decision considering most of the rotors sold out there get attached to 6-bolt hubs. The best aftermarket hubs out there seem to also shun the centerlock standard, which doesn't help Shimano, either.

I've broken 3 alloy frames over the years, two steel. Zero carbon. I worked in a shop for a decade..numerous cracked alloy/steel bikes Everything can break and crack. Maybe because more people are riding carbon noe? The fear of carbon is unfounded.
