There's nothing wrong with 34mm, stanchion diameter isn't everything when building a stiff fork. Feels like we're in a bit of an arms race to use bigger and bigger stanchions. I'm guilty of it... Went from a 36 to a 38 when my favourite fork chassis is a 35mm lyrik... And my gravel/xc bike has a 35mm pike lol. Look at the Mattoc down there at 34mm that is as stiff as a 36 and plenty burly enough for more than just down country.

yeah, she was also riding a Canyon sender later in the season.. I'm surprised we don't hear more about her. She was not 16 yet but is already super strong, already batting the top positions with Elite. She is the female version of Asa. it blew my mind that nobody had scooped her already.. sounds like the big teams are not paying enough attention to US racing...🤔

I’ve been super interested to see the reach and stack on Bruni’s proto demo. I don’t know if it’s his unique style but to me it always looked shorter and perhaps maybe a bit taller than the rest of the similarly sized field.

I remember seeing Race Face Atlas cranks with Saint sticker. I guess they used what ever they had their hands on until the actual new Saint crank came. Cannondale Factory Racing will change a lot, not just Hatherly is leaving Loana Lecomte to BMC Marotte retires and will set up a new team with new sponsors

Looks to be two new bikes coming from Polygon based on Dan Wolfes instagram. Looks like they’re making a carbon version of the colossus enduro bike (which might bring the complete weight below 40lbs lol). And a new carbon framed e-bike using a new version of polygons 6-bar linkage. Looks to be using a Bosch motor based off some of his POV footage and will presumably use the new Bosch gen5 motor. Those are two different things. WRP 0 drag mod is exactly what it was designed for; zero drag free coasting. It was designed to reduce rolling resistance. When you backpedal, it moves the DT ratchets apart so they are no longer dragging. When you pedal forward it re-engages them so you can pedal. WRP themselves mentioned it was not designed around pedal kickback nor is it out there to challenge devices like OChain. Just a thought with changes in race team structure from WB, if the top Elite team are limiting their numbers due to costs and WB limiting general access, many of the Elite team don't have female representation. So, this will limit the fields of Women in the sport. I'm not saying that team should be forced to add female riders, but without that, it may in a roundabout way decimate the female classes, just when it's been growing so well, and the racing is the best it has been for a long while.
