Interesting article in the economist today (paywall so not linked) talking about the continuing rise of commuter ebikes as a supplement to (or Infact replacing) a second family car. Brands such as Tern or Urban Arrow are apparently selling much better than the general market. Anything that makes it into even slightly more mainstream media is worth noting. If I didn't live somewhere where it's -30C on occasion I'd certainly be considering one considerably more than a e-mtb. My anecdotal observation is that I'm in the minority commuting on a human powered bike these days.

What is the serial number on that fork? With our inverted design, we use a film of incompressible hydraulic fluid (fork oil) that acts as a bearing between the stanchion tube and the fork bushing. We're able to achieve this as the fluid naturally gravitates towards the bushings with gravity. With the bushing at its minimum ID tolerance, and the stachion at its maximum tolerance, there is still a diametrical clearance between the two components. If the stanchion is touching the fork bushing in a dry state, like what is shown in this video, then something is incorrect. During assembly...

Same boat as UC and Noah, I was pretty skeptical and I don't shy away from big pedal days but man a big travel e-bike has been nothing but good times for me. I still ride all my bikes, I'm still 4+ W/kg, I haven't gotten fat, and I can pack a whole lot of fun into a small amount of time thanks to my e-bike. Has anyone seen any info or rumors regarding the release dates of next gen of wireless dropper posts? I've seen the patents for the new AXS Reverb. Also there was the leaked Fox Transfer Neo as well as the BikeYoke showing off something at Eurobike. I haven't seen any solid release dates anywhere though.
