Discovery Sports has operated the defacto track(velodrome) World Cup for the last two years, Track Champions League(TCL). It’s an invite only, high production value thing that requires an Olympic Standard indoor Velodrome. It’s worth a watch, if you like bike racing, they try to make the esoteric 125 year old discipline of track cycling somewhat more understandable to people not steeped in the history and lore of the sport, but man. it’s hella euro. I mean... I think that the route for US up and comers goes through Durango Devo and Bear National, unfortunately. Riley, Caden, Bjorn, ... they're all coming through that program. But yeah, it requires an insane amount of privilege and a dedicated family willing to make some serious sacrifices to make that happen.
