I've been using the GFG sealant since it came out and the dry lube as well. I've had nothing but good experiences, although I don't run thin sidewall tires or high pressures. I previously go sucked into the WPL world and their stuff was not good. The sealant was mediocre, the chain lubes made everything gross, and the fork boost product actually made suspension worse and ruined droppers. But good for WPL selling to Stan's and taking the pay cheque and pawning their stuff off. Very please with the GF stuff, and also who doesn't want to support Wade?! I...

Well that's disappointing. Having given up on Stan's because it's never actually plugged a hole of any size (at any pressure) in my experience, I tried Caffelatex, which was similarly disappointing, and now I have a bottle of Muc-off waiting to go. Do I even bother?

Except for Muc-Off Drivetrain Cleaner, does they have any ok or good products? I have tried a lot of their lubes, sealant and shine/polish products, with poor results.

I've had great luck with Stans, Orange seal, and most recently, Wade Simmons' godfathers garage sealant in my Enduro bikes and gravel bike, although others have had issues with godfathers in higher pressure situations with side wall seeping. I stopped using Muc-off when i realized it was terrible at getting around the tire fast enough and didn't seal around inserts very well (And I'm a straight liner hack so I need them). I find GFG and Orange seal create a membrane inside the tire that easily seals punctures and keeps more air in the tires between rides. Orange seal is...

What does MKT mean here? It was Stan’s when I first went tubeless, so it’s Stan’s forever. Tried some Joe’s that I got for free once, Slime is from Nickelodeon. I looked into mixing up a bucket of homemade sealant but it just doesn’t make sense. Never heard anything good about MucOff sealant. Thank you your attention to this splatter.

For rims taped with mucoff without my consent , I had good luck on aluminium rims with WD40 (the classic multi purpose spray), it’s still a tedious job but much faster than anything I’ve tried.

I wonder if the "magic" fuck-off remover actually removes the terrible sticky residue that their tape leaves behind. Nothing seems to work on that devil's jizz.

We got caught in the muc-off Scheme, I dont think ill ever use any of the products again.(except rotor covers) Their lube is awful, the cleaner is a scam, Sealant sucks and is a PIA to clean up.

OP, sorry to hear about your bike's finish. I would try a matte finish cleaner first and see if it lifts the dry sealant. Normally, I'd recommend a spray polish or lubricant for this kind of job - sticky residue often comes of under that kind of treatment - however, that may leave your finish glossy. If the matte finish cleaner doesn't work, try a spray of contact cleaner in a rag and wipe carefully in a a hidden location to see if it bleaches or mars your carbon finish. If not, have at it!

Ive sworn off their lubes. Have a dry n a wet I've been using for a few years, replenishing as I run out. Wondering my chains have never been nastier. Turns out its a crap product that's a magnet for dirt dust n grime. Moved back to rock n roll or whatever its called and its like ive taken a portal to a new universe. All from a stupid chain lube.

I purchased some Muc-Off sealant at one time, because I was annoyed with the flip top on the large Stans bottles coming open or breaking off, leading to sealant spills in my travel tool box. I was having issues with a tire seating with cush core and had to take it to my bike shop to handle. When I came back to pick it up, they said, "Please never use MucOff sealant again. In fact, we'll sell you some of our bulk sealant bags at cost if you won't use it anymore." 😂

I just had to retape both of my wheels because after 6 months of riding the muc-off tape decided it was done sticking and let all of the sealant under the tape and into my rims, super fun. The rims were built up from new and the tape was applied by the wheel builder. It held fine right up until it didn't. Found the rear wheel flat heading out to a ride and the front wheel started going flat mid ride.

I swear off muc off sealant. Stan's is okay but I use Orange seal or orange seal endurance, as they work best for me. I've had nothing but bad experiences with the muc off sealant which is a shame because their bike cleaner and chain lubes are pretty decent.
