Hey Jeff, there have been a few instances across the several years of EWS where the water stops have run out of water, and the race in question was one of them, these guys are coming through the Aid stations after several hundred riders, and sometimes they just run out. Some of these comments are absolutely egregious. You've got an Olympian and a world champion having to defend themselves against the reliably uninformed vocal minority on the internet. These guys are explaining the situation to the best of their abilities, in an honest and straightforward way.

I would bet that most of us here would fail a WADA test just because of stuff found in most OTC medications... Factor in various supplements that are very loosely regulated and I'm surprised more people aren't getting popped....

A lot of you are worked up over some pretty minor stuff. This isn't some Lance type of situation, yet your emotions are comparable to that fiasco. I think where the struggle lies for someone like him is that he does put in a lot of time on motocross bikes and can handle pulling a long DH bike around, but at the same time, going downhill on a long reach bike with the added leverage of a 29" wheel makes for a hard marriage to play with.
