I made my last post when I was generally frustrated with life. Sorry about that. Most of you are probably still not going to agree with me, but I'll try again and then shut up. I think it's really, really important our community talks about whatever these two-wheeled machines with 800% assist and enormous torque/power actually are, and I don't want to stifle that occurring in this thread. I hope this thread gets a lot of traction and I learn something about why others feel so differently than me. Finally, apologies for waxing a bit philosophical. Honor, or whatever you...

Of course shipping delays affect things right now. However, with the first generation M1 there was chatter in emtb forums about delivery pushbacks, which implied drive systems were prioritized for own-brand production and were made available to OEMs in limited quantities at first but then at scale much more slowly. Hopefully not the case this time around.

Orbea, Berria, Megamo and BH also have road and gravel categories (even commuting). What was mentioned is a pure MTB. Forestal is from Andorra, so it narrows it to Mondraker and Unno. Unno/Cesar Rojo just adquired Felt, so I would guess it is Mondraker the brand in trouble

Looks like they hired Cero to do the design work. They have a habit of making all their mtb work look very similar.

Does anyone know how many seasons Jack's last minute canyon contract was for?

Deanos and Harrison are in a great place in terms of mindset and fitness and besides they are fast riders... I see any of the two making it happen in 2020.

The man is a wizard on a bike. Companies could care less if an athlete actually wins a race as long as they have good results, and can make rad films featuring their bikes. Even just having a stylish pro on the team drastically increases bike sales because people want to ride a bike that allows them to ride like _____(insert pro’s name here). Now let’s stop criticizing Cody for “not winning an EWS Race” He helped win trophy of nations, the fact is, keeping up with Richie is nearly impossible. He has also won a ton of national level...

There is Jack's interview on The Other Site that keeps cranking ”articles” out of this thread. My take between the lines: - Gwin can screw a team's vibe up pretty bad 🤢 - Intense had the most fun team out there and they decided to kill it because of above primadonna; oh, and money 💩 - Cannondale's cock is much smaller than it used to be 🤫 - Jack is REALLY diplomatic about his ”choice” 🥺 - when you don't have much to choose from, you accept a change of discipline too 😔 - enduro is actually killing top-level downhill...

It doesn't have to mean Cesar designed the carbon layup, he could have just designed the geometry. And by he I mean CERO. He's not the only one at CERO, there are many employees there.

We've had debates regarding this and as far as i've come to understand is that this only applies to road cycling. EDIT: FWIW, this rule would mean that things like Minnaar's longer dropouts and custom link, Saracen's brake link and Mondraker's FOX cartridge in a Marzocchi fork (there was a picture of that in a Vital slideshow a few years ago but was taken down after being already posted) would have to be put up for sale. I do also know Sky had an issue running Berk seatposts or something like that in races because he didn't have a certificate...

He wasn't complaining about his lot in life, he was saying that building a composites factory from scratch is very difficult and the ROI is limited when you can't instantly scale volume in the far east, which is all true. Have you tried? $4k frames aren't my thing, but I can appreciate the level of design and detail he brings to these projects.

Human interaction-name of the game. My wife has a poor social media 'following' when it comes to numbers, but she is a MTB legend and currently has a career teaching people how to ride MTB's through one on ones and events. I've seen the human interactions work with her, people show up to the next event with some product she endorses, its unreal actually. So, yeah, props to Lars and Transition for seeing that important, I do as well in my job at TLD. Anyway-Team Rumors!! This week was heavy with brands parting ways with athletes and vice versa, cant...
