Heard that RMU, a ski company with shops in Truckee, whis, and breck, are launching an aluminum, DW designed all mountain bike (170 fork) that apparently pedals quite well. There’s likely to be a 140 version to follow, and potentially ebikes to follow that. Made in Taiwan. Should drop in March, curious if they’ll be at sea otter with it. Could it be this thing?

Mountain bikers HATE that four bar doesn't mean what they think it means. horst? 4 bar. DW? 4 bar. VPP? 4 bar. Maestro? 4 bar. linkage driven single pivot? 4 bar. Delta? 4 bar. First gen Yeti Switch? 4 bar. It goes on. It's a pointlessly generic term to use and if you use it then nobody is really sure exactly what you mean. It's like calling your tire a wheel. "but mountain bikers use the term differently!"... Differently than what it means? Cool...

I'm sorry this is pedantic but every VPP and DW link suspension design is already a four bar linkage

It’s honestly kind of a shame it failed. It builds a better wheel for long travel 29 applications and it’s a standard that already existed before boost. It’s just a DH hub. Let’s all collectively blame Trek. Boost 148 was their idea.

Good partnership IMO. Looks to be the whole SRAM range as well. See there's a (assumed) T-Type derailleur on the bike- also with POD shifter. T-Type launch video with Brendog would be what the soul needs during these grim winter months.

You should definitely go for DH practices, because then you’ll be able to see the practices and race day. Because nobody on the planet (especially one with a username on vital mtb forums) would be able to watch practice and leave. You will stay. You will quit your job and leave your family if need be, but you will watch finals. Cmonbro
