Last year, for one of my engineering classes I did a simulation in Ansys titled “The influence of the axle diameter on the torsional stiffness in an USD bicycle fork”. It was an exercise more focused on Ansys, not on being scientific, but still the results were interesting. Here’s a link to the presentation . TLDR: 20mm was only 4% stiffer

I have been riding my 2026 Rallon with both a podium and a 46mm offset Boxxer C1 and it's surprising how generally similar they are. The Boxxer is still great even though it's a 6ish year old fork at this point. I have the stock 62.5 stroke Float X2 as well as a 75 stroke Super Deluxe C1 coil that I have been switching between. Looks like RS is about to roll out a pretty big refresh at Sea Otter 👀 Saw a new Lyrik today on one of the latest Habit builds, plus what looks like an updated Vivid Air. The Vivid sticks pretty close to the new coil version in terms of reservoir layout. Lyrik’s getting LinearXL like the new Boxxer, and there are vent valves under the crown too. Definitely some interesting updates coming.

15 years ago we had an athlete turn up with their fit numbers all out of whack, old bike gone back to sponsors etc etc, BUT: they had a sticker prominent on seat tube that was identical to one on my tool box. I managed to print an a3 image of the old bike and translate all the measurements with a pencil and ruler. It took quite a while, but ended up bang on. Unfortunately I'm an idiot, so I'll answer your question even if it is sarcastic. I found a known value that's easy to measure, the rear brake rotor. I set it to 203mm (as mentioned in a bike check from my memory) 16.2cm = 6.377 inch, rounded up however the app used rounds things and also not a perfect angle. Closest match for phone size would be a Iphone 16/17 pro max at 16.3 cm or a google pixel 9/10 at 6.3 inches. I'm going to go with the iphone 16/17 pro max. I should touch grass.
