dude never left the company! he just stepped aside in the public eye and stayed on as „chief visionary officer (oh boy!)… he is even listed as CEO on all of YT’s financial reports. PE might be responsible for to optimistic growth targets, but i‘m pretty sure weren‘t the ones spending the money on full blinged out mills (still don‘t get that term). i have an opinion of who has a spending habit in that equation

What the hell is wrong with these companies? Both Stoll and DirtySixer think they can sell bikes without telling people the geometry. Is this just some kind of rug pull because they don't know what they're doing, and until Trek or Specialized or whoever comes out with a sorted 32inch bike they can trick people into being early adopters with the alure of new-new (be the first on your block!)? This is some fly by night nonsense.

A few pages ago, people were hypothesizing this was a new Wilson. Pictures were taken at Highland bike park, which is near eastern Canada… sort of. There’s also an engineering group near there that designs bikes for other brands, so the jury is still out. I would love it if this were a new Wilson. The last carbon model they made in 27.5 was the best cornering downhill bike I’ve ever ridden IMO.

Back to crab related rumours. Kavenz has started prototyping their VHP V8 which will be carbon tube and cnc’d lugs. They will be posting a series following along with all the details, similar to what they did when they created the first version of their frame.

I was thinking about this Yeti patent but there are slight difference between this real life proto and the patent drawing: https://wheelbased.com/2020/11/22/multi-body-vehicle-suspension-linkage… But the cable entry is very different from current yeti model including their more recent Mte and Lte. That cable entry port looks a bit Norco-ish. Scott is fully all-in on headset cable routing and the ransom is already 6-bar. Could be Intense new tracer as they have been willing to offer DVO oem spec and not bound by their JS-tuned VPP platform with the M1 and new Spider.

More on this, the shape says Yeti but it's not their usual Sixfinity layout? I know from messing with 6-Bars in Linkage that you can get a similar effect from those twin chainstay links as you can from the sliding link too. The shock layout compromised water bottle mounting and the sliding link compromised seatpost insertion, so IF (and it's a big if) this is a Yeti, it seems like they'd be moving away from their old platform for quality of life reasons?
