My Man, we've got to get you on a DH bike at the world cups. Or hell, just on your trail bike. But you should take over on the Red Bull course previews. You've got the skills and composure. Nothing personal Gee.

7.5B in sales of Red Bull cans last year and customers are left to log onto internet-cloaking servers, buried inside a rusting ocean vessel somewhere off another country's coastline. What Bullshit.

whenever i see track walks i always wonder if any of these outdoors people who ride mtb down hill own any hiking or trail running shoes, you know, with treads, to walk on slick mouintainsides.

looks like an amazing bike. i have the wagon wheeler Slayer, bought in part due to the review here by Joel Harwood. looking at this new Instinct i'm glad i did. i prefer the look and geo of the Slayer. nevermind the bollocks or the labels, the Slayer is an incredible climber with a broad sweet spot for all kinds of trails. and it goes down just as you'd expect while remaining a playful beast.

We've spent nearly a year on the $849 Race Face Turbine SL wheel set and have had nothing but hassle-free, fun, ripping trail rides on them. These 29er-only, light-duty trail wheels from the Canadian component brand have clocked miles on three different test bikes ( 2018 Rift Zone 2, 2020 Rift Zone and 2021 Fezzari Delano Peak) and have hosted two different drivetrains ( Box Prime 9 with HG driver and 12-speed Shimano with Microspline driver). The asymmetrical, 25mm-internal-width 6069 aluminum rims are laced to the incredibly fast-engaging Vault 424 hubs with 28 butted straight-pull spokes in a 3x pattern...

8/5/2020 9:54am yeah it's weird, it's not like there's no seal on the cover. no water should be getting in, no water, no dust. but it seems to be the case.

8/2/2020 8:58pm Had the same experience. 5 minute service. Use the correct clutch grease. Running smooth and fine. Curiously dry to start though. Makes me wonder if the correct or grease, enough grease or any grease was on the clutch to begin with.

8/2/2020 8:56pm yes. well known issue apparently. lubed it and set it a bit looser than it came stock and no problems since. otherwise i love the drivetrain.

jbv Added a comment about product review Adjustable Coil
7/2/2020 8:30pm i went all in on Sprindex and had it before my new Slayer 29 even arrived. best thing i could have put on the bike. it's the bomb. the ability to adjust spring rate on the fly depending on terrain, mood, climbing or descending is incredible. don't mess around with your compression settings, actually change the spring rate. coil had no appeal to me prior to this bike, now it's the ultimate set up. i have no interest in an air shock anymore.

6/18/2020 10:49pm The stack height on these bikes is crazy low. I have really long legs and, I guess, a shortish torso, so I think I would need a ton of spacers under the stem. Too bad, I've had Knolly bikes and loved them.

5/20/2020 6:42pm This is just my opinion, and I completely get it if I get a lot of heat for it, but it feels like the DHF is becoming what the Nevegal became - highly praised and widely loved, but too many other good options started popping up to just stick with it for traditions sake. It’s a tough problem to have, having so many good choices.
