The Canadian border is pretty annoying when you are trying to get to Whistler/North Shore/Squamish super fast!

Sounds like you need to get yourself a seatpost bud. They seal those seattubes up pretty well! - Lars

So their press release doesn't even bother to tell you that it's a 29er. And then when you read the very last line, you see there is a single version of it that's 27.5....? Usually when you come out with a bike that has 2 different wheel sizes, it's a big thing to mention.

Maybe I need to experience it myself to see what you guys are talking about, but I've never had a problem getting my dropper to the height I want it at. It's not even something I really have to think about. I can feather my droppers just fine without unweighting the saddle. I can't see how there's much room for improvement there.

You might want to find some whiteout if you haven’t used it all up for the rear tire logo to keep the sponsors happy. You obviously realize performance cant always pay and sometimes needs to be bought

The Rocky Mountain Slayer has been a mainstay for the Canadian brand for nearly 20 years. Throughout that time it has played the role of Rocky Mountain’s heavy-hitting trail bike, however in recent years it has fallen out of favor with many and the Altitude BC Edition became the brand's flagship enduro bike. In an effort to rekindle the magic of old, Rocky started from the ground aiming to modernize the Slayer for enduro, freeride, and park duties without sacrificing all-day endurance. To see what the new ride is capable of, we have been punishing our test rig for a...

i agree and i've had both wheel sizes. it's also kinda fun to play around and adjust to the ride. small wheels are especially cool in tight trees. i was listening to Jesse Melemed recently (podcast) and emailing with him about the new Slayer 29. at the elite levels riders are so in tune with a bike design and frame size that deviating is stressful for them. consider the razor edge they ride at trying not to crash and any change can be unwelcome. they agonize over every slight adjustment. he's now going with the Slayer as he says it's...

you see how muscular that guy is in interviews and then you see how stable and aggressive he is at speed and the connection is clear. a beast indeed. love the sound in this video, he tortures some wheels and tires something fierce.

As a picky bastard, I’ll say to have a look at that again. In unsupported corners, or where the turn is longer, he drops the outside foot. That’s about the only time it looks like his hips are outside too. He’s otherwise really lined up feet to head, level pedals like you say. All edging, no hedging. F’in amazing riding.
