Bike sizing and wheel size preference is very personal depending on your riding style, past bikes and setups etc. At 6'3" I would definitely put you square on an XL but riding a large isn't out of the question. Usually when people size up it takes some getting used to but they end up loving it in the long run...

I made the switch from riding only technical trails to only flow trails about 3 years ago and have never looked back. I have a customized Transition Double with a 400mm dropper post so I can pedal it to the top of U-Line for sessioning.
