Or, Norco. Team being managed by a legend that was the king of tinkering with frame adjustments until the day he retired. A team that has a F1 engineer. From and outsider perspective. Holy hell, what a season! So stoked for Jackson to deliver under immense pressure and for Marine to quietly continue kicking ass. Amazing to see Dak at the very pointy end of things and Americans taking 3 of the top 5 spots at MSA!!! It's been the best season for Maxxis that I can remember during my decade and a half with the brand. Ok but, forum replies get off topic easily and fill up peoples inbox. This thread is about 2026 team rumors, not YT’s failings, there are plenty of other places for that. I’m unsure exactly what you mean regarding butted, but I’m not sure if the tube internal diameter changes at any point, clamping torque is only 7nm so I wouldn’t expect it to distort tube wall at that, but I could be wrong. I feel you, but some hardtails are legitimately comfortable (when reframed as gravel bikes…) speci Fuse is stiff and sucks, epic hardtail is compliant and feels so good to ride. im telling you guys, the majority of the gravel segment has never tried a mtb (thinks they don’t need one, overbiked, etc.) or doesn’t even need a “gravel bike” (just needs a road bike with 38s and lower gearing.) the gravel category exists because people think road bikes can’t have 45c tires and also that mountain bikes are silly and unnecessary for singletrack. I mean, I'll go on record and say I much prefer wireless shifting and have been extremely happy with my Gx Transmission drivetrains. That being said, I really don't give a flying monkey's banana on what people run, and I really wish people would stop being so damn angry that wireless shifting exists. I think people miss just how easy it is to swap wireless drivetrains around when you do have issues.
