They need to make the forekaster v2 in DD It's a great rear tyre for alot of trails.

I’ve been running DHR2 front forekaster v2 rear on my Fluid, what benefits could you see in swapping out the DHR2 for the new dissector? I really like the current set up im using this is just a curiosity question, Praise to the Forekaster, such a fun tyre for a do it all short travel bike.

That’s exactly what I’ve been running on my 130/140 Stumpy and it’s been awesome.

Did you just decide to neglect the 13.9kg bike in your argument? Not to mention all the sub 15kg options - that’s how much bikes weigh now man. If you want a lighter one you can put a 1x10 groupset on it, and a rigid post, maybe even 27.5 front and rear.. it might be sub 13 by then.. but...

That combo absolutely Rips, as someone who isn’t putting on a different set of rubber for every track or condition it’s my favourite to date. Its good on hard pack but when it gets wet or dusty it’s absolutely great

Oh ok you're one of those. Cool. Please define what you consider a "chainstay" succinctly in a way that actually covers all suspension layouts. I understand suspension dynamics and the concept of leverage quite well. The final year of my degree was mostly concerned with mountain bike suspension design and a fair amount of my experience in engineering has involved linkage systems. You're just assuming I'm a moron because i said you had a shit take on something, and I'm a guy on the internet. Nobody in mountain biking understands that word to mean what you insist it means, and...

chainstay length itself is also the distance between rear axle and pivot point - this is why the actual length matters so much, that pivot could be infront of the BB or behind it. which has quite a role in anti squat, leverage of the stay etc - it also directly relates to where the BB ends up.
That's nonsense though, and nobody else I've ever talked to considers that word to mean that. There's no way to define that length for a virtual pivot bike in a way that makes sense unless you want...

No hate. Really want to see the guy do well again. The evidence is there so people can go and listen, then make up their own minds. I appreciate the honesty from him and other riders in the scene. The difference between Greg, Gwin (who have also been vocal at times re equipment issues) and Brook, to me, is not only what they said and how they said it, but the attitudes underpinning the comments.

I look at those quotes and see someone who seems to be dealing with depression rather than entitlement. But to each their own.

This. Love the guy, his riding and the story. I don't think he has anything to prove to anyone. Oddly frustrating to watch him point finger at things around him, say like every 4 words and have little self awareness. Obviously very unsatisfied with how things have washed out lately but it's seems to be holding him back rather than fueling his hunger.

I think Brook is at a bit of a crossroads.. He's got the skills and following that he could transfer into a content creator role and still do some racing, but I'm guessing his heart and head says he wants to race for the results.. Unfortunately, those aren't there for him.. Hopefully he can make something happen because it would be a shame to see him disappear from the scene..

The Receipts: Talking about finding sponsorship to go racing, Dom Harvey Podcast 2025: “I understand that in in like the industry but like in my eyes as well it's like you know I've been so prominent in the sport like to go to a company it it feels I kind of feel offended like if they're like 'Oh sorry we can't do that.' And I just it it's hard to understand because like you know in my eyes like I feel like I should be able to you know finish World Cup racing but still be associated with the industry...

He's undeniably a far better rider than I’ll ever be, and this isn’t a critique of his skill on the bike—that speaks for itself. That said, I have to disagree with what you’re saying. He’s consistently criticized almost every bike he’s ridden since the original Mondraker. More notably, he’s the only rider I’ve heard go on a podcast and openly...

Good result, good event, but the wales hardline for me has lost its shine. For me it has become the leogang of Hardline, I’ve watched that race track so many times now that every year looks the same, time for a refresh! More tech more awkward like Rachel eluded to in the Wyn Tv video.

Antidote bikes have for years on their downhill Rigs, assuming you’re talking about frame layup - But now that I read your question again I’m wondering if you’re talking about a tyre inner tube and not the carbon tubes
