I've got some 686 Everywhere pants that are my go to for trail work, camping or riding. They are not as cheap as some non-bike specific alternatives (~110 usd iirc) but they are honestly pretty amazing for all rounders. Great for trips where I am going to be riding and prioritize clothing that can be dual use, without looking like a bike dork when I don't want to.

All the sponsorship posts from AON/Reece & Sleeper.co have been so dialed. Sure, they're trying to hype up their sponsors and 'sell' people on why they are choosing to run X product. You are way overthinking this, any decent enduro bike will be absolutely fine. I rode there with ibis ripmo v1 and had a blast. Little Champery was my favorite trail, its sandy and grips really well, probably even better in wet. Only thing that threw me off was the amount of people, didnt expect top of Nato base was that crowded...
