Hey guys, just wanted to jump on here and say thank you to all who is supporting me throughout this situation! It means a lot to have you guys backing me through it. It was a tough pill to swallow forsure but I know everything will work out in the end. Excited to get on track this weekend in Maribor!

I regularly derail topics, so I'll go along for a short while Smile My point is that with or without an idler, the part of the chain from the chainring to the rear derailleur is the same. Having an idler or not having it will have no effect on that part, so the chain will flop around exactly the same. Therefore if it does (and it does) flop around, it can start unwrapping itself or just start to do it, then the rider backpedals aaaaand... with less than 1/4 of chainring wrap, you throw the chain off completely. Not so...

I'm not really sure I'd believe that. The idler is at the top branch, that is more or less taught in either case. The thing is, with the idler as far forward as we can see here, you get REALLY low chain wrap. It might be a bit more taught than in a normal layout (as there will be a bit less slack in the chain maybe), but what I'm aiming at is the fact that the chain flapping around in the wind (which it mostly does at the bottom, as the derailleur cage moves around and gives it some...

An account created today linking to a video nobody in their right mind would be looking for/at that just happens to be about an upcoming bike? Nice try Markus. Guerrilla marketing I can deal with, but presenting it from a punter's perspective is just cringy.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Sad that this is what inspired me to finally pitch in. This is total BS. This is total conjecture, based on nothing. Consider that this is precisely how people like Weinstein got away with their shit for so long. Erode somebody's reputation by implying that they're difficult to work with. I know you're not responsible for her contract, but come on. Consider how hard people here worked to defend the reputation of a well known male pro recently. And he actually did something worth criticizing! But based on nothing, you're going to speculate that...

In my eyes the idler pulley is necessary to make a high pivot working well. But the idler pulley alone will make a negative effect, for sure, on any well-conceived non-high pivot suspension design (unless you can put an idler pulley concentrically to a "standard" pivot... which is not possible without a ridiculously small chainring).

with all the respect to Lew, I doubt Nigel Page went away from family in xmas to sort out a contract with Lew Buchanan... probably Nigel went there to visit someone, spend his xmas over there, riding or whatever he wanted to do.. on the other hand..this is the negative point of riders becoming youtubers..no announcements until they have enough content for the next YouTube video...he is milking the masked photos already...

When you said "Online retailers doing bike "reviews" of products they want you to buy from their store" was out, CRC felt that.

It would make sense for it to be commencal with the hayes brakes since they are now off sram and I don't think there were any teaming running them last year.
