Did you ask Gwin for an interview or at least if you are allowed to publish it?

I've mentioned it before, but now I just have to YELL! Hey UCI, technical trail riding should be it's own MTB category! With the likes of Jeff Lenosky, Jeff Kendal Weed, Danny Mac and Chris Akrig clearly becoming so popular this needs to happen. Back in '88 or so, when I got my first real MTB, I didn't really know where or what to ride. So I went to the closest trails that I knew, which were the equestrian trails in the Arroyo Seco South of the Rose Bowl in South Pasadena. Those were boring and sandy and really sucked...

No one is paying me, and they are very fun...but so are my acoustic bikes.

I've had 2 pairs for about a year. Still trust them more than the RF and SRAM carbon cranks I broke in well under a year. I agree the older cranks were sub par (but no worse than the early SRAM X01 carbon cranks out there that broke a ton). The new cranks released this year and reviewed on PB recently come with a 5 year warranty. Cant say for sure but I would assume they will be good with a warranty like that or no $ would be made...

Dont know why those stats haven't been mentioned until now but good to know. Hope hour cranks continue as is. What model of race face cranks did you break?

Thanks. I guess I've seen e13, sram, and rf carbon cranks come apart. The RF ones I've seen were the older next sl's. I have sixC's that I've had for a few years with no problems but I cant help thinking I'd be better off with aluminum shimano's, if only for piece of mind. Maybe sixC's and/or nextR's are ok?

Would have been sick with a black fork. The red one makes it look like Ronald McDonald's bike.

Apparently everyone forgot to tell these two nobodies that ebikes are only for losers and old fat guys. Haha Seriously though, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Percent of people who hate ebikes before they try one: ~100% Percent of people who hate ebikes after they try one: ~0%

The most important question is: Will the additional footprint of the bigger diameter make inside lines easier for the king? And will the added rotational mass make ithis advantage negligible? I remember him saying that enduro is all about saving energy. By that regard, the bigger wheels can definitely help qith fatique on long and fast stages.

I would have thought Brayton would be running the Hope V4 brakes but he's on the E4? Also, considering he is sponsored by Ohlins, why is he not riding their DH fork?

Too many unknowns. Itd be easier to guess if we knew where he ended up with his chainstay length, what his inseam is and the top tube and reach differences. He's 5"10' so I guess our torso lengths are similar. Xl seems a bit extreme but he's extremely fast. Stand over looks fairly similar between l and xl
