Not the lightest build out there, but damn does it feel good. It really lives up to its name. Its personality clashes. It climbs impressively well, has just enough playfulness to have some fun, and is planted to bomb through the rough stuff. Oh yes, that is right it can take a water bottle.

It is very nice looking frame.
Did you have a chance to weigh the bare frame?
I am very curious how pedal friendly build the frame can be turn into...

The bare frame is around 3.64 kg. So just a little more than what they post. I am assuming the added weight is from the painted frame. From what I can tell it should pedal well enough with the12sp Eagle drivetrain.

Well that is not far from what commencal states. And they probably tell the weight for the small size.
Thanks for replying. This frame was in my list of possible future bikes and since the reviews of this bike are so scarce let us know how it rides when you finish it.

Will give an update after its all together. Snow can't melt fast enough. I have heard it climbs pretty well, based on a few Aussies on Youtube.

Finished the build. Weight is around 16 kilos but doesn't feel heavy. I am used to heavy bikes though. Initial thoughts are that it feels really good. The name Clash really defines this thing. It doesn't know what it wants to be. It feels good when you pedal and playful yet planted. I will know more when I get some good trail time, but first impressions are its an awesome bike. Also just for those who were wondering...yes you can put a water bottle on it. I usually use a fanny pack, but figured I would see if it worked. It did.
