Please buy my DH fork that's been ridden super hard and never serviced. The oil seals don't leak because there's not enough oil left in the lowers to properly lubricate the bushings. If you can deflect a 35mm Boxxer to the point it's truly an issue, I'll be the first one to cheer for you on the WC circuit or at Rampage.

The biggest problem with hexloc was consumers complete inability to understand how to remove their axle despite being demonstrated live and in front of their face several times. I can't see a company like Fox adopting it because even though it provides superior stiffness at the same weight, customers are too stupid to make it work. Source: the utter misery of selling bikes that came stock with hexloc axles.

Hey all, just got this shiny new thing in the mail to test. Rimpact's press release is linked here, along with some of my first impressions before bolting it on the old bike. Accidentally I've noticed a photo in this article where Dario Lillo is appararently racing on a prototype Fox 34 (?) fork with completely new lowers. Oh, this is my specialty. I make data sheets and written guides about buying a bike. Your best bet is finding a Giant Fathom, Trek Roscoe, or Specialized Fuse secondhand. I've even seen that base Fuse with the coil for under 1k on their website. If you're REALLY struggling to find anything you can always fall back on the Poseidon Norton as a bottom of the barrel stock build that you can basically upgrade frame up long term. I get the most excited for the custom Rampage bikes. IMO, cooler than Worlds bikes because there are so many variables... gears/singlespeed, dual crown/single, DH/freeride frame, air/coil, 29/27.5 or dual 27.5 or mini mullet. Plus the custom paint and such. Bring on the Pit Bits for Rampage!

You're missing out on the fact that the teams are private businesses and they don't have to hire anyone. If they don't want someone with potential baggage, that's their prerogative. Given that racing is essentially done exclusively for marketing, it's no surprise that the big teams are taking a pass on him. There's not some grand conspiracy trying to hold back your boy, just businesses doing cost/benefit analysis to what he'd bring to their brand image.
