I thought they are breakaway so your head/neck doesn’t snap to the side in a crash.

Surely not... Force everyone with 203 mm rotors to replace their mount adaptors when they replace their rotors (or switch to a different brand)? And everyone who doesn't know about the change then has problems with their brakes? That would be a disaster. Edited for clarity

Going from this instagram post - https://www.instagram.com/reel/DUWtTSCko0O/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link… I'd say its a desert titanium iPhone 16 Pro Max. I'd agree its a Pro Max and not a standard Pro given the percentage of the rear that the camera bump takes up (see https://img-prd-pim.poorvika.com/cdn-cgi/image/width=500,height=500,qua…) Also appears to be using an Apple clear case given the MagSafe ring.

Unfortunately I'm an idiot, so I'll answer your question even if it is sarcastic. I found a known value that's easy to measure, the rear brake rotor. I set it to 203mm (as mentioned in a bike check from my memory) 16.2cm = 6.377 inch, rounded up however the app used rounds things and also not a perfect angle. Closest match for phone size would be a Iphone 16/17 pro max at 16.3 cm or a google pixel 9/10 at 6.3 inches. I'm going to go with the iphone 16/17 pro max. I should touch grass. I'm also either going...

Sram truly is the apple of cycling, only not as good as apple is in tech. Everyone else makes 203mm/8 inch rotors, but we're going to make 200mm because we can and because we're different. Honestly it's only really an issue because the is mount also died on frames and forks in favor of direct post mount.

that's a dumb thing to ask tho, as most brands make 203mm, sram/rock shox themselves were the ones with the Totem sporting a nice pm 203, making 183 and 203 rotors

For aftermarket stuff, getting one with a wide range of adjustment is really important, since you can't always get a matched tuned. What shock are you coming from?

Good question and I've heard this for years. I can't find a great source, but Whistler was publicly traded until 2016 and did disclose revenue by quarter (duh) back then. In 2016 they were doing ~$70M in "ticket sales, retail and rental, food and ski school ops" revenue through the warm weather quarters against a total of ~$230M. So no, its very unlikely they were matching revenue. Profitability was even worse, with EBITDA margin around break even for these months, but I hardly did a deep dive. One other fun fact, I believe they count bike tickets under "other visits"...

I think so, I was able to get the new Scott Gambler in the 10 level build, so carbon front triangle and aluminum rear, in an XL. It weighs the same as my size L aluminum Norco Sight, 39ish lbs, and even though the Scott has a 20+mm longer rear end and reach, because the front triangle is lighter I...
