10/5/2026 11:11am I'm not sure how many people noticed, but there was some race tape on the Placid track. On the motorway before the speed trap, both sides connecting 3 poles leading up one of the jumps.

10/5/2026 10:50am The big thing with longevity is maintenance. I've seen chains last thousands of miles and some last 500 or fewer. Nothing broken, just totatally worn out. The short lived ones are always on people bikes where they literally haven't lubed their chain since getting it, and 12 speed chains show their wear worse. 10/5/2026 7:57am You do see a good amount of them, but have you been to many DH races recently? There are a so many people on the new Phoenix, most races I've been too in the last few years there are more Pivots than v10s, at least in Colorado and Utah. The more bikes out there getting races, the more broken frames...

9/28/2026 11:02am Almost looks like it was put there because they couldn't move it further out due to the rock, but the course markings likely didn't change the whole weekend and everyone has to ride the same track. It's a fair rule even if it seems harsh.

9/28/2026 7:27am Lazer helmets should be releasing an update Cage pretty soon. They're at the very least updating the pads in the helmet, but I haven't seen it in person yet
