BRAIN reporting that FOX will move corporate headquarters/offices to Georgia and various Bike operations to Reno. Considering the size of their off-road/side-by-side biz and the price of land/rent in the southeast compared to NorCal, it seems logical enough. ----------------- The company also announced record sales and plans to move its bike distribution, sales and service to Reno, Nevada. The system is designed to only read feedback from the trail, not the rider. So in that scenario, the system will remain stiff unless you encounter a bump of a high enough threshold.

Similar, but different. The RockShox e:i system that Lapierre uses only locks the rear end, and it's all dependent on a sensor at the front wheel. FOX addresses both ends of the bike and the system response time/algorithms are a big improvement.

I raced this bike at the Big Mountain Enduro in Crested Butte. Had a top 5 stage finish on it. To be perfectly honest, the Scott Genius is not my first choice for an enduro race bike. I was struggling with the geometry, and it rides like a 120mm XC bike, not a 150mm enduro bike.I had no issues with Live Valve itself. The system performed as expected, and I definitely noticed how much more you can get out of the bike pedaling. I had it set up with a light threshold and longer timing for flat and DH terrain...

Speaking from experience, Enve's stripper wheels have eliminated my most common cause of flats - bead cuts/pinches. Those DT rims are strong as hell and build up great, but they do tend to cut beads. It's probably fairly well protected patent-wise, but otherwise a similar system could be adopted for alloy rims. This and DH casing tires are a nearly indestructible combo (I know, I know - Minnaar at VDS in '17). Together you'd be covered against pinches and tread punctures. Throw a Cushcore in there for one more level of insurance.

I did. The techs at SRAM when I was there for the SRAM Technical University told us that the 34.9 Reverb is just a spaced out 31.6 seatpost and they fail more often. They told us just to buy the 31.6 and use a nice shim. I think specialized is the only other company offering a 34.9 seatpost, but I may be wrong. Regardless the Transfer with a Problem Solvers shim is dialed. Havn't had any issues.
