I will say I had a bit too much overlap with a 130/140 bike paired with 170/170. I swapped out the trail bike for a steel hardtail with 150 fork, more fun on the xc stuff (with the fork damper cranked up) and doing almost every rugged line at a similar pace of the 130/140 bike. Still have the 170/170 for the majority of my riding though. I would go for new school xc 120/130 and a 170ish bike if I was limited to two bikes. Sadly there isn’t much that I’m actually faster on a dh bike with these...

I actually rode 3 bikes on this trip, 1 heavily modified enduro bike (XL nomad 6) and 2 dh bikes (L TR11 - L V10), so I got a pretty good chance to directly compare a 175/180 enduro bike to a dh bike. Dusty's bar in creekside is the best of the resort restaurants... Typically I wouldn't recommend any of these, but this spot is quiet and the people that work there are nicer then other spots. They have a decent appetizer menu that's less expensive then other resort based restaurants and the chicken wings are pretty good. You lost me there. They put BBQ sauce on nachos. That's unforgiveable.
