You think Rob Hurst and Carlton Kirby are really good commentators? I had to turn off The Giro and didn't even bother with La Vuelta, they're both awful.

Seems to me CG is supposed to be replacing Claudio, and is doing just about as good a job as Claudio was doing. But the story of the race, the tension, the build up of the event, as well as the knowledge of the track and riders, the knowledge of racing, that was all Rob. Ric does not seem to have it. I hope he gets better.

I don't think I'm speaking out of my ass when I say that Cedric Gracia wasn't as technically savvy of a racer as some would think. Yes, he's French & French team tactics are amazing. But CG is a rogue. I've been there when he raced. I've been talked into stupid lines by him. I've been told my lines were too scary by him (literally...but in a joking manner) only to see him take a WAY scarier line than I would. He's all out talent & a fantastic guy. But I think we need a race tactician in the booth...

i'd like to think they would then go back and watch the replay of their own coverage to see the gap between attending the event and what they broadcast. like you said that's the product they are selling, one would think/hope they have a vested interest in ensuring they are capturing it in a way that the fans (aka their customers) are expecting.

Just give me good parts, not top of the line parts, but good parts that won't break and leave me without a bike for half the season, at a reasonable price. It's great places have warranty but I don't want to have to use it, I just want to ride, wash my bike, throw chain lube on and take it out next ride. New bikes with performance elite suspension shouldn't cost over $5000 Cad. And let me choose the paint color for a few bucks extra, that would be cool.

A truly waterproof headset would be nice. I live in a dry area and my headset still gets creaky and rusty way too soon. Obviously I wouldn’t buy a new bike because of only that
