1/24/2024 11:13am Heard the main reason Dak signed with mondraker is cause they are making him a signature handlebar, with 65mm rise and a crossbar.

1/19/2024 10:56am It's 95% the rider. Case in point: Jackson won World Cups his first-year Elite on the new V10, while Greg struggled all year to find a good setup. Or for you Moto fans: Chase Sexton battled with the Honda the past two years, while Jett Lawerence moved up to 450s over the summer and went 22-0. I've watched plenty of really talented riders hop on different bikes and go really fast. Shit, Dakotah beat me on a Morpheus multiple times. The sweet sauce is understanding setup, having resources (like the ability to evolve a bike to match one's style), and...

1/19/2024 9:18am I think this forum (and industry in general) makes too much fuss about the frame design. I think the fork is as or more important than frame, your front wheel has to steer and do the majority of the braking. Id rather race a good fork over a good frame if I had to choose. But to answer the question-...

1/19/2024 7:36am But it is the Buldog issue. After the injury he changed, understandably. From top 20 guy to not qualified, its pretty sure its mostly riders fault.(injury, mindset, preparation...)

1/19/2024 5:31am The new mondraker team is going to be fine. they have good suspensions (fox), good tires (maxxis), good geometry (proto bike has adjustment), lots of team support and staff. They have a race engineer and I’m sure they can modify the bike if needed. if the bikes antisquat is slightly off that is not going to ruin someone’s career.

1/17/2024 8:44am On a moto- single finger is plenty to do a stoppie. Pad clearance is about zero- wheel rotates a few times when spun off the ground… Not acceptable for a bicycle.

1/17/2024 8:01am Are the 220’s noticeably more jangly than 200? Ie when you bounce through a rock garden do you hear the cling-cling-cling noise? I hate that sound

1/16/2024 6:49pm SO GOOD! Congrats on the new sponsors, bringing on Angel and Martin, and thanks for going so in depth on my questions at the end. Super interesting stuff from start to finish. Loved the part in the middle about "Why aren't other brands as transparent as Frameworks?" Transparency absolutely builds trust, and trust is rare and precious these days. Appreciate everything you're doing.

1/14/2024 12:29pm When doing development you’re splitting hairs- typically looking for tiny improvements. the time of day and rider fatigue plays a huge factor. Suspension feels terrible first run after lunch with a sandwich still bouncing around in your stomach. Then a few runs later fatigue sets in and everything feels crappy. very hard to test A/B/A setups with similar conditions, fatigue...

1/14/2024 7:12am I’d agree- dyno doesn’t always tell the full story. It’s an extremely useful tool but you must do blind ride testing as well. MTB suspension testing is incredibly difficult and frustrating from my experience.
