1/12/2024 7:33am I had frustration with a Scott ransom- they put bushings at the trunninon shock mount and they kept getting wallowed out and developing play. Eventually found some replacements on McMaster that could be made to work with a file. like you have this awesome carbon super bike being let down by the only spot they chose bushings. Why they use...

1/10/2024 12:40pm I heard PON stepped in before several of Greg’s runs this year and forced Lyle to sabotage tyres so they wouldn’t have to renew his contract for 2024.

1/10/2024 11:26am I think there is something to the higher weight, less mobility thing, but to me that isn't the major thing that makes Jackson's riding different. The biggest thing I see is Jackson's corner speed on steep terrain, which I put (in part) down to his light weight allowing him to brake later and slow himself down for corners more easily than a heavier rider. Jackson seems to be able to gap into sections, clearing over bumps and holes, and then slow himself down on a dime. A heavier rider like Loic or Minnaar wouldn't be able to brake enough for...

Dave_Camp Added a reply to Rear shock size help
1/2/2024 10:10am No 225x70 is a Trunnion mount size and will not fit your bike. 230x60 is standard eyelet size. You could maybe go 230x65- but need to check clearance carefully and will likely void the warranty.

1/1/2024 12:45pm More like I finally have the option of a downhill bike so I want to see what all the hype is about. I am plenty happy with Enduro and from what I've heard internally, contrary to rumours, Enduro isn't going anywhere. But just wait till you see my latest bike, new year new me.

12/20/2023 12:07pm Material is aluminum (AlSi10Mg), M4 bolt passes through the derailleur bolt from the back and threads in to secure it. If it seems there would be interest I'll make some available.

12/20/2023 12:07pm Eagle derailleur was feeling left out - so I made a thing - replaces the washer on a standard UDH dropout with a "Brace" that links the rear derailleur for strength and stiffness.

12/16/2023 7:12am Re Brosnan: I don't know his situation, but here is my hypothesis. He's newly married, has a hobby farm with horses and cool shit and it's Summer Holidays here in Aus (Everyone stops working for a month lol) It's 35 degrees every day, the suns out, the beach is ready and the beers are cold! Last thing I'd want to do now is head on a 24 hour flight back to Europe on the covid tin can, shiver my balls off in some French ski village away from your loved ones when he could be eating Prawns and smashing beers...

12/7/2023 5:37pm Im still annoyed that DH frames that can fit waterbottles dont come with the mounts, makes park laps so much more enjoyable not being thirsty in the heat. Also, holy rear centre length batman! S3 has a 460 rear centre BEFORE sag, that is one long as rear end.

12/6/2023 8:37am That is simply electric booster power steering. There is still a mechanical connection from steering rack to the steering wheel. cybertruck has a wire. no one is doing wireless.
