What about everyone's favorite racer/interviewer, Wyn? Last year he made lots of posts about "his last" Did he retire? I havent seen anything published on that. His profile still says GT factory racing, but uh... that seems to be a no go. Anyone know whats up there?

it's definitely an interesting case study to compare with some of the racers situations.

With Mr. Metallier you have to think it's related to the brands not having money for it anymore rather than not wanting to continue the relationship. No idea what he's like to deal with B2B behind the scenes but as far as clicks/exposure/talking up your brand directly to an audience, he's gotta be one of the best, guy's a pro. No surprise to hear he was able to replace them in short order.

half baked comment. obviously luck can be a major factor in downhill racing. but he also was seemingly the most prepared for that race on that day. winning doesn't happen by accident, even on a track you know well in conditions you excel in.

AG himself stated this when he was at his peak and winning WC-overalls. i think it was during the YT-era, that million was salary plus combination of personal sponsors like ODI, onza, etc. howelse was he able to afford that top mansion in temecula plus his porsche gt3/mclaren 570s. times and his priorities where different back than now back to team rumors, i think salaries should be a seperate thread.

When joining YT last year Vali stated in an Interview that her salary is roughly 100k. Of course that could be higher for this season after her success last year. But I don´t think, Kolbs salary is that much lower.

Yeah, they'll do a great job dialing in compliance, I’m sure of it. They appear to have the resources to alter the bike for both riders preferences and make a stiff bike for Greg and maybe a less stiff bike for Danny. Sometimes it’s not about finding the “right” stiffness for the bike but what the rider believes makes them faster. If a rider believes a stiffer chassis suits their strengths and will help them go faster, then make it stiffer. If they’re happy with the setup and they are correct, they usually ride faster even if it goes against...

Reckon norco can successfully design flex for both Danny and Greg? Or they stop chasing an infinitely stiff for Greg?
