This just happened to me today. A couple months back, I bought a new frame and started building it up, mostly transferring parts from a donor frame. Work has been uncomfortably busy, so I've taken my time, doing bits at a time on the weekend as a form of therapy. I agree, incentive is limited. I'm actually a sucker for rad paint jobs, and nobody is doing anything remotely cool these days on that front. Where the hell are the fades, splatters, metallics, neon colors, etc. No originality at all. Please drop some acid and get back to me.

His content is a mix of cringe and informative. This was pretty good and I am even more sold on 32 now. (Only gripe with this vid was the way he was saying “to get more grip you add more knobs to the tire” when in reality the more knobs you add the smaller the knobs get, so fast tires tend to have lots of little knobs and slow tires tend to have fewer, bigger knobs. I could see how he could easily mix up “knobbier” and “more knobs” but still, when people want to be a source of knowledge...

If anyone is thinking at all of going, you should. You will have an amazing time and transportation is so easy in Korea. You'll show up at the airport, get to Seoul, and then take a high speed train to the venue with ease. And the locals will be STOKED. The food is out of this world. Going to Korea is the best kind of culture shock too.

I'm always surprised at how seriously they test for this stuff when from what I can tell it isn't a real problem at all? Motor technology has come a long way but it still needs to be high torque (and huge) or small but run at insane rpm (loud)

Yeah there was a lot of bad cuts in that area. I fucking hate drones. The eye in the sky shot sucks. You can only see the lovely scenery and the rider is an ant. Save that for feature films. The follow cam drones work ok for big jumps. Just watched the sleeper edit again. God damn is it a good one. Oli Clark is a wild man. cant wait to see more from him.

Not that anyone ever would ever bother to do this on the dumb two-shock ebike, but I’m trying to imagine how hard it would be to pick a base tune for two identical shocks working in parallel on a fairly normal leverage rate. The funny thing with the one flight attendant shock is that, in that dual shock layout, every time the FA shock locked out it would make the suspension twice as soft by diverting all the force to the other shock.

That video makes me think of those fever dreams you can have where the dream replays over and over. Voices dont match, things seem off, its all pointless, and its very annoying. Ah they nailed the fever dream marketing feel.

Their quality control on their US frames was terrible though. Made in the US only really works when the quality is equal or better than the foreign products. I had a friend who worked in the warehouse for a bit during the late 00’s and heard numerous stories of misaligned frames and even bikes getting painted and shipped without cable guides. I also bought a custom DJ frame built by one of their welders. He welded the BB on backwards then chased the threads the correct direction.
