12/9/2024 11:19am I remember reading something that stated soft tires don't necessarily stay soft in the cold. That's a separate property of the rubber compound - how much the durometer changes in cold temps. Not to say the Mazza doesn't stay soft, but don't assume any soft tire will do well in cold temps.

10/3/2024 3:46pm Their dealer email stated the below: Why the Sale? We’re running this massive sale to clear out the warehouse and generate the cashflow needed to invest in exciting new products currently in development. As the market continues to become more competitive, we need to rebalance our stock while investing in prototypes, extensive testing, and tooling for the future models we...

8/1/2024 12:50pm As Nick said, moto steering stabilizers with the full mounting setup are expensive. The Precision Parabolic damper is sort of the latest and greatest and is $750 for the full setup. I previously ran a Scott's stabilizer (design came from Ohlins) and those are just as or more expensive for the full package. Guessing the mtb stabilizer market isn't going...

7/10/2024 3:41pm I've wondered why no one uses leaf blowers rather than chainless chain saws at the races. Every bit as loud but with the benefit of providing some refreshing breezes for other spectators and riders on hot days.

6/13/2024 4:37pm I found the Charger 3 to be very harsh in a lot of situations. Did a lot of work to try and get a setup that worked but ultimately failed and put a 2.1 damper in my Zebs. The 2.1 damper is much better in my experience. Hopefully the 3.1 is a step up in performance.

5/27/2024 7:16am It's only telemetry if it comes from the telemetry region of France; otherwise it's just sparkling data acquisition. But actually: If the data being collected aren't also being transmitted, it isn't telemetry.

5/16/2024 7:49pm All the newer TRP DHR EVOs come with longer push rods now and the longer push rods are available to purchase for older DHRs. They allow the lever to be adjusted all the way to the grip if desired. I believe it was a quiet running change and is part #6 below https://trpcycling.com/products/dh-r-evo-lever-small-parts

2/21/2024 8:34pm I can't get over how quickly it went from everyone trying to figure out each feature and the track appearing as this crazy, nearly unrideable thing to everyone just figuring it out and doing full runs. You can literally see the bar get raised in just a few days. Highlight for sure has been all the women ticking off features. This will stand as a massive leap forward for the women's freeride scene and goes to show the level that their riding is at; they just need the chance to get their foot in the door.
