3/3/2026 8:53am Actually, they had them as soon as 2011 and they had special ones for the Worlds, with the names of the riders instead of the model name. I have pictures from Champery that year. Team, except Graves, was a bunch of cool southern hemisphere juniors, like Shaun O'Connor and Brandon Yrrtiaho etc. I found a picture in the mean time. Need to look for those with tires. Mx

2/5/2026 2:32pm :-) Well, has a French, I can only say that the best cheese is French and near my hometown. Budget wise, full focus on material, components. I mean, we will not have a mega hospitality in Season 1 or the most beautiful set up of the paddock. We want to do things in the good way but it's performance/sporting first. Again like we do in motorsport : we are not the biggest team, but last year we fought with Corvette factory team, beat Porsche, BMW factory teams etc. Dont get me wrong, I am not saying we will bit the...

2/5/2026 2:32pm This is why we did not want too many French riders at the beginning. The team is American : the team principal, Elton Julian, is American/Ecuadorian. We have a workshop in Concord (North Carolina), with the GT racing cars, two trucks etc. Team also has one workshop in Barcelona, which is our base when we race in Europe, also with some race cars, truck, tools. DS always had this international culture : in the crew we have some Portuguese OR Brazilian engineers, Portuguese, Spanish or English mechanics etc. Yes I am French and living in the Alps between races, but...

2/3/2026 1:01pm Its micro marketing and not meant to be a global marketing campaign i would guess. Clearly doesnt move the needle as much as lets say sponsoring an athlete like vali, but will probably also just cost a fraction. I have no clue, but could be that trp doesnt sell as good in germany, hence give a guy from germany a couple of the brakes and he might help sales there. This guy is well known around here, but not only because he does youtube. I have seen him doing comunity stuff like shaping dirtjumps in free acces areas with local...

1/12/2026 9:43am Appreciate the kind words 🙏 that genuinely means a lot. We try. We keep trying. And yeah, when I say we, I really do mean me. Still just one bloke doing everything: product, riders, logistics, emails at stupid o’clock, the lot. No staff, no big safety net. Just belief and stubbornness. The industry doesn’t make it easy for small independents. The big dogs have deeper pockets and louder voices, but that was always kind of the point. Do cool shit, build something authentic, and if it ruffles a few feathers along the way, so be it. I’m proud that Viris...

1/7/2026 10:27am The podcast plays a big oart in It, at least for me (I'm a spaniard). You get a look behind the scenes and to "live" the WC thru his eyes, so there is a familiarity that others don't have, add to that he is a cool cat , normal dude and you get why he's loved around these parts. In a sense he is a Vital Rider.

11/27/2025 8:11am You sure that drag with the bosch isn't just the fact that it's putting out more power, and suddenly none when it cuts off ? Or is this the older bosch cx ? I find my '25 mondraker crafty xr (bosch gen 5) more or less identical to the relay (fazua) with the motor off. Good bike too, great geo, excellent kinematics, even if the downtube is a bit of a visual travesty. The e-druid is the heat as well, that's where I'd go next, if I had to. The avinox really isn't much lighter than the bosch. It's within...

11/26/2025 1:24pm You're very entitled to your own opinion, but I didn't hear the same contradictions you did. I've re-listened multiple times this morning and I still can't hear it the way you have. I heard Markus say they knew they were facing tough times but weren't expecting the PE firm to get to a point where they aren't willing to inject cash. The Fire Sale was an effort to get through that specific period without having to ask for more cash. That failed and then they were told 'no more'. As for your previous point, it's not exactly clear to me...

11/25/2025 3:24pm 1) I think this YT segment of pods (and Brine's involvement) has been really good lately and I would love to see Vital do weekly pods (of any type) to stay on the pod-radar, even if its just 30-45 mins jabbering about bikes, gear, whatever. The DH season w/ Dak is great, and likewise, the details on bike biz that Jeff's been pitching in on - which I thought would be must-miss - were must-hear really, and w/ Charlie & Schroeder... this has been pretty damn interesting. I get that pods are more time consuming than the fan base thinks...

11/25/2025 12:00pm If your definition of making money in a cushy fashion is 4 days work for minus £40 and comments like this, then I must be that hanger on using mountain bikers for my benefit. Just to be clear, this was my decision to do this interview and I'm not unhappy about doing that at my cost. YT just covered the bulk of the travel to enable us to do it in-person, which I think provides not only a better quality audio and video experience for you all, but also makes the conversation flow better. This doesn't in any way change...
