brash Added a comment about product review Dropper V2
6/29/2022 5:29pm I have two 210 one up V2's. On two different bikes. Both are <1 year old Initially they were faultless. After about 4 months they started to get "sticky" and wouldn't extend fully. Initially I thought it was simple as air pressure loss or the seatpost collar was a little tight but this wasn't the case. It seems like the threaded collar has a lot of added friction at the seals, once undone the seat springs up like a torpedo! I clean the post and apply a small amount of slickoleum to the white bushing clip and it's good for...

6/28/2022 11:35pm As usual, I took a couple guesses as to what's hiding under the wraps on the Demo prototype. The first pic (Option A) is a true six-bar similar to the DW6 layout, while the second (Option B\) is a four-bar with a sort of MX-style shock linkage around the BB. Option A is extremely progressive, likely far too much so given the current trends away from those sorts of designs, while Option B works very well (in my humble opinion) but doesn't seem to quite line up with the photos we've seen as accurately as Option A. If anything, both...

6/23/2022 3:07pm It has a hidey-hole for your herbal sedatives, an observation port for your sag indicator and is reassuringly expensive.

6/17/2022 4:40pm I've been riding the fork since they come out, it's taken a lot of fettling, but here are my observations. - Take the fork out of the box and service it, the air spring will take special tooling to remove. But remove the excessive grease and re-assamble with correct fluid levels and grease in the right spots - more air less tokens, 1 or 0 tokens is the ticket for these, they are inherantly progressive, the more travel the worse this becomes. I am running 0 tokens at 180mm travel and 117psi. - Open LSR more than suggested (way more)...

6/14/2022 4:43pm dude I like your optimism, but I can't see these suit types employing someone like warner yelling out "it's wetter than a whale with a bladder infection" on the livestream. It will be some goober in boat shoes saying "he did a jump"

6/14/2022 4:48pm Damn this video is cringe, top it off the player failed about 30 seconds in twice. Go banana! Edit - Finally after 5 goes I've watched the video through.... holy shit the sport is in trouble. This is reallly bad.

6/14/2022 4:06pm After watching the presentation I expect the coverage to be homogenised "professional" sport coverage, which I will do not even bother to watch as it will be behind paywall. However it's a great opportunity for teams, riders, people like Wyn and Cathro to produce high quality insider content that will shift audience from Discovery and hopefully move MTB away from UCI in the process. If Vital could curate that content in one place it would be awesome!!!! That's my optimistic take on the situation :D

6/7/2022 4:36pm Enduro is arguably the most accessible and popular form of mtb there is right now, the market is after that do it all bike and here is the platform to showcase that on a grand scale. The bikes are so capable now and truly do pedal well that you could just have that 150/160mm bike and ride anything. The whole...

5/29/2022 10:23pm Push shocks are built specifically for the intended bike and not just as X stroke, so there are different length HBO cones internally and different spring seats externally. They are chosen to suit the specific leverage rate of each bike so the bump stop progression and HBO engagement gets tuned for the application. So if you compared the shocks built for different bikes with 60mm stroke there can be at least 3 or 4 different configurations of those 2 parts alone. This is changed by a service center at time of sale or during reconfiguration, so while it is only...

5/29/2022 7:50pm is it the same deal with Push/EXT? or you just start snap off/add a spacer? I mean for the HBO portion. Or is it set specifically to a stroke length?
