1st gen uses a proprietary valve and shock pump. Rebound/compression damping is closed all the way once 2nd gen comes out. 2nd gen has no valve at all.

Makes more sense than Norco. Starting his own team but still riding a V10 (and fox suspension) that he has significant input in designing and he is notoriously picky about setup. He has some history in attracting slightly left field sponsors, and extracting (presumably large amounts of) sponsorship money from smaller brands - clifbar, mous cases, o’neal. I’ve flicked back...

Another strength is an integrated dropper for old frames or DH frames without internal routing.

I always thought wireless shifting & droppers were a silly waste of money until I got a frame with headset routing. Headset routing is so incredibly bad- not only is it a nightmare that takes 4x as long to route as normal internal routing, it compresses the cable housing reducing performance, your headset creaks no matter what you do, and two differen models of dropper have had problems with the cable housing requiring me to do the whole hour long process over and over again.

We did, Foes used to do it and I have it on one of my retro rides the Taillefer Maxxis Team used and the year after this version they used it on the production version. Theres nothing new in the MTB world everything is just being rehashed from the 90's or they realised back then and made designs that worked before the companies milked consumers like in todays world with a new fad every couple of months.

MTB forums/comments: Reviewers are industry schills, they never write anything bad about any products. Everyone knows that sucks/is unrideable/will fail and won't get warranty support. Also MTB forums/comments: This reviewer wrote something critical about a product I happen to like, they must be biased against that company. Total hatchet job man!

Alternate perspective: Maybe it's best he didn't race after breaking two helmets a week apart?

Hm, even if this guy was 200cm tall, 105kg is not healthy and there is absolutely no discussion about that. I know I know, sensitive topic on American forum, but closing eyes and saying everything's gonna be alright is not going to change that. Sorry.

On the XC side of things, two rounds outside Europe in consecutive weeks in April, where do we think that will be? if it’s Brazil again, where would get paired with it? or would it be aus & nz? Also national champs a week before the olympics? Guess many riders will be skipping the chance at the national jersey.
Not a fan of the protected rider set up. Copying my post from another forum. (and to be clear, I'm a massive Minnaar fan, but he has benefited hugely here). Greg Minaar has 32 points from Lenzerheide. Flatting in Semis, getting a free pass to finals where he flatted again. Greg is protected due to finishing 10th overall last year...

Looks good, glad to see more companies going wireless with droppers. I've been running AXS droppers for 2+ years on 2 different bikes and I absolutely love it. So much so, that I'm having a custom steel hardtail built and I elected to have the builder add no dropper cable routing so I can only run a wireless dropper.
