Is Bernard Kerr the UK version of our P Diddy, looks like it. Is his new nickname going to be B Kiddy??

That part of the Alps is granite or something similar (volcanic source, hard as woodpecker lips). Grippy AF. For us Slovenians, used to limestone which is slick at the best of times and is like ice in the wet, it was a complete WTF regarding grip levels when it was damp or wet. Better than dry in our neck of the woods.

Martin was on the Atherton team back when they were sponsored by GT. Could be they're just still friends.

I've been thinking about the insertion length thing and realized that since you don't need room for the cable to sit below the bottom of the post, the extra length of the servo/etc might not be issue. Am I crazy?

For me I think this is a great idea. It is just a 4mm to get the seatpost out, connect to a usbc or something you have anyway... And it would make sure the post never sticks or get gunky. I am waiting for the bikeyoke one because I have 3 bikes that I use that uses a dropper, and I share them with my wife who is shorter than me. Getting one post with a favorite seat each. Even if it was just me I would rather have one and move it around than 3.

" In all fairness I think speed+style became a bit stale" I don't think I personally ever really got it. I love racing, I'm glued to the DH and XC. I'll even watch the weird niche things like urban eliminator. And I'll watch the slope/freeride competitions in a state of confused awe at how intricate the tricks are. But speed...

€40,000 for 10 riders at 10 events is €400 per rider per event to cover entry fees, paddock space (including power and water), plus whatever comes in the media package. Sounds reasonable to me, and maybe a good incentive to have sign 10 riders. Consider what entry fees are for your local race, and then consider how much bigger a production a world cup is. This is a way for the team sponsors to indirectly pay for putting on the race. And nobody participates in any professional sport for free. Either the individual or their team pays into the league...

Why have criteria #2-4 (there's 6 btw)? We've covered this. So smaller teams that don't have all the points but may have signed an interesting/fast/legacy rider or two etc.. have a shot. Or for example criteria 3 - "UCI Team composition (multi-category, multi-gender) ". So a team with slightly less points but that has signed women and juniors has a shot against the quite common male dominated teams. Or when making the selection between two similar teams when one has a rider who has been done for a doping violation in the past (criteria 6)? So ya, seems there's loads...

Wow. You'd swear they were deleting the clock from DH racing. The wildcard stuff will select around 10% of the riders who'll race world cups. Drama for nothing

I haven't ridden BC outside of a day trip to Whistler over ten years ago when I was a complete beginner. But looking at the videos from Remy and other YouTubers there seems to be endless "pro" level trails that I would probably stay away from despite considering myself a very good rider. That said, I'm blown away with some of the stuff I see on YouTube in the USA and particularly the UK, "easy" bike park flow trails now all of a sudden have massive jumps and drops. I feel like this is setting up a trap when beginners...

have you tried anything halfway between the current two models? is there an amount of drop that feels pretty much like a regular pedal but has enough drop that it can be singlesided and self-righting?

" A World Series Team will be allowed to sell Official World Series Team Merchandise & host hospitality with guests/sponsors from their paddock space" Lol. Is that an exclusive statement or inclusive? As in they can sell WC Team merch or can only sell WC Team merch. Why do I feel like every time I read these updates they are speaking directly towards Mr Kerr and his team?

This is basically a different category though. Turd product for real mountain bikers but this is for the retired $10k+ e-bike trekkers who want suspension for comfort. Those bikes are high end in their own lane so the fox branding makes sense.

Hey guys, I came across this shop that is selling new norco range vlt which is not on the official store, it has less travel 170/160 and vertical shock. In the specification there is electric shimano XT Di2 RD-M8250 12 speed, which i did not see anywhere except one page that is not accesible but on google says that this derailleur is 200 euros. That page is in Czech I apologize if somebody posted about this already.
