Thanks for the kind words. Sincerely appreciated. I also wanted to thank everyone who has taken time to particpate in this thread. In a world full of internet dumpster fires, trolling, dunking and devolving online discussions, at minimum I've found the willingness of the collective to have a meaningful, fun, civil discussion to be worthwhile in and of itself, regardless of how right or wrong we all may be. I don't know much, but I know the more this happens, the better off it appears we all are. HNY everyone! Cheers and thanks!

I know this isn't the conspiracy thread but I have a feeling that many brands are secretly happy with the new World Cup format. The big teams have less competition and the small ones might secretly be excited to be able to say "Oh Shucks, we will have to disband given these new constraints." I am sure that many people at these companies want to continue the team, but World Cup team budgets must have been feeling pressure in the last year or two. I wonder if brands were more on board with the changes to the format than they...

I think Rocky still carries some of that "general bike company" feelings with some people. If you asked me 12 years ago if I'd buy a Rocky I'd have looked at you like a crazy person, they were more boring than Jamis other than DH and freeride bikes. Now they've been my last 3 bikes and I'm currently looking at the new Element. Yeah I work at a shop that sells them, but I have 5 other brands to pick from as well as other brands that still give industry deals that are most of the rest listed as high...
