The reach numbers are long, I'm 5'10" on a medium g1 and have slowly moved from a 40mm stem to a zero offset stem. Only a handful of rides on the zero offset but it's got me in a much better position to move that big plank around.
Because of the higher position of the bars I was really comfortable on the climbs which translated to less fatigue and on descents was able to weight the front or pull back and ride the middle of the sled.
It's a tuner for sure but some like that. Throw in the ability to run modified travel from trail to DH and adjust the geometry on a stable platform with incredible build quality and I've just written copy for them.
It was an interesting bike in that it pushed the trends of the time to their limits.
As time has gone on, the ideal has been seen as a long wheelbase, high stack, and much shorter reach. It lets you stay relatively centered in a strong position, and makes the wheelbase feel smaller than it actually is. I tried that same g1 with the original bmb rrs, which improved it a lot, but damn it was ugly 😂. And still a bit long on wheelbase. But that bike deserves a lot of credit for pushing geo ahead.

Can Ari just take the damn diaper off? It’s been cringe for a brand like Ari from the start. It was fine for a brand like Orbea because we were genuinely interested in the brand and wanted to see what they’d do with a DH bike. (and they did indeed deliver!)

In this case he is on a re-branded competitors bike and the cover is an attempt to obscure that.
But yes, on the actual prototype, they should definitely remove it. Copying Diamondback’s homework from nearly 20 years ago doesn’t need hiding.
It is (if someone from Devinci sees this, I accidently found an unlisted page, I dont know if someone oopsied so I am not going to share the link/s) Spring 2027 was the date

Talking to the shops there, they hardly ever see a broken v10 frame. If they do crack, it's because someone smacked the frame into something. Usually a chainstay hitting a tree or something like that.
There are videos online of people breaking phoenix chainstays from normal landings, and breaking front triangles from heavy landings.
These are single instances being published so it's tough to know if it's representative of a design issue, bad QC, or previous abuse, but the videos of catastrophic failures I have seen are concerning, especially when there are other options available that don't have any instances of failure under normal use.

My 2024 V10.8 had the problem of the cups working loose. Called SC. New updated cup set in hand within a week. 20+ days at Snowshoe this year and never had to touch the headset once.
My buddy with 26 V10.8 with the double bolts was 100+ days at Whistler this season, so def far from norm.
I got the new bolted headset for my 24, but I still had to crank down headset eventually, 6nm, with a clean and regrease ~30days. Also edge case at 60+ days of Whistler in season.

No bolts in mine (yet) 40 days whistler and maybe 20 days elsewhere only had to re tighten 2 times. No damage either

weird, my sources were saying new Enduro this spring
I would be surprised, heard Spec isn’t out of the woods yet financially with the bike recession. If they were launching in the spring, they would have had to lock in production specs already, proto molds would already be done testing. Maybe possible they do a link like the they did on the Levo?
Having to cut Levo retail prices by ~30%, can’t be helping, they sell about 30k of those a year. Hearing long travel bike sales are getting cannibalize by eMTB.
I think this test mule might have shown up before but that's a Dreadnought E frame
They have been tinkering with compliance/flex, the one Laurie raced at whistler was also like that. Combing over Hardline photos, I realized that the grips that Asa runs is not one Burgtec currently offers

What’s that mounted to the accessory mount on Richie’s bike?
Multitool?

Prolly gps or r something to track your ride without having a stupid ah screen on your top tube or even worse your stem
its a OneUp EDC tool in a 3d printed mount
I think yall are underestimating how much easier planned obscelence is with electronics
Seems like Ari is moving onto a High Pivot suspension layout. could be equipped with a concentric rear-axle pivot or drop outs.![]()

#lookslikeasession
Ari isn’t moving away from knucklebox. Your eyes don’t deceive you either.
Aiden on a new intense? Hopefully the return of the uzzi is near

Thought so too when I was watching, then I remembered this post.
Or it's just a re-branded Session?

Finally!!
It looks very human

It was part of the QR code they had at hardline.

I was told by the rep, the new DH bike, probably the Wilson, was in that box. He was very vigilantly guarding the door when he had someone inside.
If you submit a warranty on the website, they will ship you the new headset.

Forbidden Supernought with an aluminum rear triangle?
