If it’s ever happened it hasn’t been since the mid 2000s. In the years the French men weren’t at the top there has always been at least one woman winning races.
Frameworks, is the first team of the year to win in both elite categories, impressive for being a little team and big win for Neko and obviously Newkirk, plus Asa on the podium in mens.
Not only is the north American streak somehow still going but Newkirk being the first American to take one in 20 some years is also impressive.
Who thinks Finn is possibly on a Bruni streak now? Specialized has to be stoked and with Bruni out I'm sure he's getting all the tricks and treasures of being number one rider on the team.
I'm sure the other teams are banging their head against the wall seeing the often struggling Finn come to form right when Loic is out with injury. And it's not like the others aren't on pace. Although it does come at a time that the biggest threats are having more struggles than usual. Amaury, Jacko, Asa, etc. (its kinda crazy Luca went from winning a round, for the first time, to not qualifying for the next round, for the first time...)
Now that the commentary has been decent for two races I'm ready to complain about stream accessibility again
Here's Jackson's POV:

What it looks like when you're on the top of the world.
Marc Beaumont has done a remarkable progression, it's night and day.
Just sawn in the MoiMoi video that they are sweeping the track the night before race. What's your take on that?
The fact that those bottles were in peoples mouths to get them open scares the heck out of me as a wine professional. Also says a lot for whoever made those bubbles. If someone can get a screen shot, let me know. Not going to carry that product, must have only been like 2 atmospheres of pressure in those bottles.
Come on promoter, use some of your leverage to get solid bottles, bigger bottles don’t always mean better.. or had they been sitting at the restaurant for a few years?
Go Anna and Finn!!
Ric still hasn't figured out how to pronounce Hulsebosch properly. Say it with me Ric “hool-se-bosh” not hoozle-bosh ya numpty
What should the pressure be in a bottle of champagne? 2 atm is like 30 psi
Also fascinated to hear about this- i always knew different sparkling wines seen to have different amounts of pressure, is this like an industry standard?!?
Yup. Credit where credits due. He’s done a great job improving.
5atm is the standard. Prosecco is usually around a high 3.
@Loisfer yes, sparkling wines have an unwritten standard coming from most places.
I worked as a brewer at a brewery and also did a bit of time as a homebrewer. Lots of Belgian-style beers that called for some spritely carbonation which inevitably means some of them become too carbonated.
I'd be wearing goggles if I needed to pop one of those things open. I'm sort of surprised there hasn't been an incident yet!
They’ve done clean up in the past at other races also. I’ve witnessed it at Andorra, in between practice and finals. I want to say I remember seeing it at champrey, last year after practice sessions. It’s a huge win in my eyes- the crews are keeping sections from getting heinous for the rider and preserving speed and lines.
For those who wonder if the cheese roll stayed on the mountain. Go figure.
Biniam Girmay had to withdraw from the ‘22 Giro when he got hit in the eye with a champagne cork after a stage win: https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/33937255/eritrea-girmay-giro-eye-i…

Sleeper goods coming in hot! Can't decide if the boosting or the scrubbing is the sickest...we're picking both!
Oui, definitely, fair do's. Even Ric is alright. I hate to say it, almost don't need the race companion listen along now. It's lie one weekend of that has given enough pressure to the actual team to improve.
Sweeping is fine. It's keeping the track in prime condition for the world's best.
As long as we don't have some Tomac-esque tooth loss from trophy's, and bottles!
Kaprun World Cup 1999 when Gerwin Peters won his first World Cup, he nearly took out his eye with the champagne cork. He had a black eye almost instantly. Forward to 3.15 for the action...

They've kind of fixed that too. https://watch.ucimtbworldseries.com/en/ I used to be a big Tiz enjoyer but it got tiring when it was only working in 360p and then would freeze right when the most exciting moments happened. I didn't want subscriptions and add-ons to random streaming services, but this new website is specific to UCI mtb races, isn't crazy expensive, and has been running flawlessly. Some riders got discount codes too that you can use for a percent off your first month. I think I used ASA10 or ASA20 or something. I just have to remember to cancel it for the winter.
The only legal avenue to watch in Canada is Flo Sports which is $40 a month or something ridiculous like that. This streaming link you shared might work with a VPN but given that it’s still a paid service i don’t know if i want to risk paying for a VPN, plus this, and have it not work.
