Is the frame no longer built by Frank? Not sure if I missed any videos or info on the changes but the link is changed and the front triangle is different now on gussets and all. Curious what will be shared about these changes and why.
Additionally, the medium has grown and there is now a small that sits smaller than the prior medium. Plus an XL.

All the info has been few through their newsletters over the last few years, and a few videos.
I can't remember the exactly how the new one is made, but they have told everyone, you just need to go find it.
I have been receiving newsletters for a long time now and watch their videos and never saw the information shared regarding those changes. Hopefully someone will have some insight on that.
The frame looks even better now! 😍
Just the integrated seatclamp is missing from the glued version.
Is there a new geometry table available? Nothing on the homepage yet.
Can you post it?
Thanks!
The latest newsletter that got sent out last night had all the info including deep-dive-ish videos on both enduro and DH frames. The videos are currently unlisted on Youtube and only available in the newsletter. They're now made in Taiwan - butted tubes, less gussets, lighter welded clamshell bottom bracket junction with finish machining, one piece rocker I think, new sizes, and so on. Sounds like production numbers are still very small and they expect to sell out quickly.
Frank is still laying the beads i am pretty sure. The work that Neko has done with Faction on stress points and 5Dev on the milled aluminum has allowed them to clean the frame up a bit.
Gone are the gussets at the headtube and the seat tube is cleaned up at the main rocker pivot point. Very clean look that follows the bonded frame look with a few design details carried over.
Geo hasn't changed much. 10mm taller headtube with a slight increase in reach. (Allows you to get into a tall upright position without loosing as much reach.
Maybe the headtube angle got .5deg slacker (fuzzy on this one). Kinematics adjusted for more shock fiddling (highly technical term). 3 position vs 2 (liner and progressive) and optimized for the Fox air shock.
As far as the shock goes the Fox FloatX2 was the preference for Asa, Anna, and Angle. If I recall correctly Neko said that they were all given the opportunity to run the coil to but they all settled on the air.
They definitely do look real good!
Neither that newsletter nor video attached to it actually touched on any of the changes that I saw. Was mainly about production dates and shipping etc. where did you get info on the changes?
Bummer to not have Frank welding them. Still love and support the program big time! That was definitely an extra bit that I valued though for sure..
Yeah, seems no more preorder and now just a limited run of stock. Will have to act faster.
I would hope so! Was definitely something that I valued and hope that it is still him behind assembly.
I was hoping/thinking that might be the case with all the work they’ve done on the other versions with Faction.
Definitely takes influence from the bonded frame. Very clean! Definitely just some noticeable changes with the gussets, etc
Large mostly stayed the same. Medium grew. A new small and XL were introduced. I’ll have to scope kinematics cuz not sure if that was changed at all. I know it changed between iterations of the last style frame but they appeared same between the last and this.
No doubt. They definitely put a lot of work into the tune on that one.
The newsletter I got last night had three videos. The first was a video of Logan giving the most current shipping updates while the team is down at Hardline. Below that there were two "in depth" videos, one for the DH and one for the enduro.
Okay, that’s good to know. For some reason, mine only loaded the first one last night when I was digging around and I never reopened it. Now upon opening it up again, the rest loaded on my email and are showing(dang internet must have got me lost night). Watching now. Appreciate ya letting me know on that one!
all the details are live now - https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/press-release/frameworks-launches-2026-do…
That video said it all. Thanks!
Both videos on the newsletter explain exactly that.
Bummed on the move to Taiwan mfg. Nothing against, Genio, my RAAW has incredible tolerances as well as very good looking welds, but part of the reason I wanted a FW was that it was built by FTW in the US...
I was really hoping to upgrade to the bonded frame. Maybe next year?
Is seat tube offset the distance from the middle of the seat tube to the middle of the BB? Is it accomplished by having different BB lugs for each frame size? Trying to wrap my head around it.
Holy smokes, the DH-frame is already sold out. They didn't even let me sleep one night to decide if I should pull the trigger on a new DH bike.
Congrats Frameworks!
It's a no-brainer, while I'm sure FTW can pump out a fair number of bikes, the popularity of Frameworks probably means it would suck up his entire production schedule so I would guess its best for both parties to do it this way. Along with the new carbon rear end, (which again I would assume is made close by in Asia) they can now build a more advanced frame, in higher numbers, with shorter lead times at a more competitive price. So its win-win and I'm stoked they have grown this far that they needed to scale production like that!
Also movie to Genio yields real benefits other than scale. They now have access to better tubing (butted tubes) and can hydroform the seat-tube, meaning a better product overall.
I wonder how many different triangles they are producing now? Are they all unique for each size and frame?
I would love to demo the enduro bike!
I think it’s still just 50 a run?. I’m sure the Asia frames are incredible (I owned a raw Yalla) I still love that I have a FW welded by Frank the welder. OG FW
I’d say they’ve bumped up a little as well as adding two new sizes.
Production runs of 50 was when Frank was welding the front triangles, now it is depends on how many fill a shipping container from Taiwan.
I believe that number is around 200, but probably mixed between DH and Enduro frames.
I imagine if you really really want and will pay Neko will let frank make you a frameworks.
Anyone get an order in for the DH or Enduro frame?
Yeah I’ve got DH frame on order.
Has it shipped yet? or have they provided any updates when it will?
Yea mine came last Friday
Any pics? How long did it take to ship?
Any ride reports? Got my frame but too injured to ride atm
