my idea of it looking miserable would definitely change if i rode like jackson 🤣
It looks fun to ride imo. NOT fun to race for sure. I'm probably 1% in terms of riding capability compared to Jackson but that track still looks like a blast to just slip and slide on.
Troy steps it up after long in-season breaks. Wife gave birth last year (2 yrs?) he missed a round and came back and won or podiumed how I remember it.
Eddie's raw video (lawlor is not in les gets this weekend)
i know gopros skew perspective and sometimes make you look closer to things you aren't... but i think Asa nearly took himself out of the race after the wallride 😱
Sleeper co has a fun Lil video or carnage on IG
David Coverdale & Tawny Kitaen approves of this track:
he's not the only potential casualty. Saw a nasty, somewhat simple crash shared earlier & waiting to hear the outcome
And how about that super combo at 4:27 taking the inside, hopping the rut & riding top of that berm

thats a MUST link
im still buzzin off that asaXsleeper video. that coulda been an hour longer afaic
Fast AF le raw
bernard's daily vlog
Have a buddy who is there in person. He says the soil is clay, which makes a hell of a lot more sense as to why its so slippery. I'll agree with others, super fun to ride, would be absolute terrifying to race.
Hope the conditions get better as its an overall fun race to watch, but last year the camera just fixated on the slip and slide in the clearcut area and it was quite boring.
Bonus: If you turn on captions for the Le Raw video, it thinks the sound of the tires skipping over wet roots is the sound of applause, which is very apt.
still blows my mind how good Troy is in Mud, bmx background and from Adelaide, where it's Dry AF yet he's a wet weather master. Just killer bike skills.
A vote for Ronan and Oisin having a good weekend if the weather stays terrible.
Okay so there’s been an uptick in bizutch bizashing over the past couple days and I don’t want to pile on because you make me laugh but dude what?
at first I was like “oh yeah slippery when wet” but that’s good ol bongiovi and them jersey boys, so no. So like are you saying these Pete rose style crashes look like her writhing around on the hood of the car? Here Goldstone goes again? What the fuck are you saying here dude you’re absolutely fried. Trying not to go on LinkedIn and bash you and Uncle Ron anonymously but you’re pissing me off with this one. What’s the reference? Is there a mud wrestling story I forgot or what.
side note: my brother is a PA at a concierge doctor’s office in LA and David Coverdale is a patient. He wouldn’t tell me what Coverdale came in for but I’m sure it was a rash from a blousey shirt or whatever. (That’s a whole other issue, that my brother was like “oh oh I have a secret” but then couldn’t go further because he had sooooo much integrity lol)
Martin Maes also is a good bet. When he won in La Bresse is similar pig shit conditions.
@brash I hear ya. All though a lot of people say riding well on dust is just like riding in mud. I wouldn't know im from the PNW. But also Adelaide also has a bunch of clay as well, right? Which makes for the worst, slickest mud in my opinion. So he might be used to it as well.
yeah lot of clay there, where I grew up there was a clay quarry and when it rained it was akin to riding on ice, if you locked up the brakes the bike actually accelerated!
Just a refresher about qualifying basics:
- Elite Men: Q1: Riders ranked 1-20 qualify for the final. Other riders go to qualifying round 2 (10 go to final).
- Elite Women: Q1: Riders ranked 1-10 qualify for the final. Other riders go to qualifying round 2 (5 go to final).
- Junior Men: Riders ranked 1-20 qualify for the final.
- Junior Women: Riders ranked 1-10 qualify for the final.
Dust and mud are different, dust you get jump scare moments where you're sliding for a split second until your tyre eventually hooks up, mud, you just keep sliding hahaha

100 World cup starts will tend to bolster a complete skill set. Dude is always there, no matter the conditions
Does anyone know if the course got faster between EliteQ1 and JuniorQ? Or are the top 5 juniors really from some other planet (a planet with lots of chairlifts)?
I came here to post he exact same question. Honestly, this is why I want to see the fast juniors just race with the elites at this point.
Can you please remind me if Elite Q2 is on youtube or some other platform? It will be a good one!
junior results posted here - https://www.vitalmtb.com/news/news/results-junior-qualifying-2025-les-gets-world-cup
sascha earnest just went 4:46 in elite women's q2 which is 1 sec faster than junior women. 2nd place q2 elite is 4:53 and big names like marine and myriam at 4:54. kids may have just been hauling.
