it's very rare we get asked to take anything down and in 16 years of being at vital, i don't remember any leaning/pressure from brands "if you don't do X, we'll hold back from working with you." just because something was here and goes away doesn't always mean we deleted it.
we delete if asked by a brand b/c someone that shouldn't have had the info/photos/videos leaked the info/photos/videos or if an NDA was clearly broken.
we don't delete if a product is out in public, if someone was careless with their hiding of it in public or if a 3rd party was careless w/ their viewing settings on videos or articles or store pages.
i think most everyone is aware that if something lands here, it's out in the world for good, whether we delete or not, ya know? things just move too fast. i'd HATE to be a brand trying to keep something quiet these days.
I am just remembering some forbidden (?) stuff got axed and people were saying it was an admin delete. I did mention it was rare in my comment.

Interested in the NDS endcap on the back of Brosnans bike. Those concentric axle pivots seem to put a ton of issues into hubs, wonder if it’s similar to what Danny was running in the GT last year.
I think that's one of the Infinity Stones. If she gets all five, she can make half her competitors vanish with a snap of her fingers.But...

But actually... perhaps it's a suspension setting indicator, a la Loic's much-debated handlebar LEDs?
The notches around the circumference resemble the Shimano BB/Centerlock pattern. Not sure if that's just cosmetic, or if it's an actual tool fitting.
Good catch with the BB tool grooves.
I bet it's a TMD dropped into the steerer tube...or it's the eco/boost switch for the ebike she plans to race. Everyone thought it was a hidden gearbox, turns out it's a DJI motor.
Hi everyone, Andi Sykes here! I covered the China Cycle Show for Vital last week, and I've finally had time to edit some YouTube videos together of my coverage. Hope everyone is ok with me posting here, and please give me a shout if you have any questions about the bikes seen in China.

All in all I think that the whole Flight attendant setup is kind of like a fancy wireless version of the very proto Öhlins Suspension Loic and Finn are running. The effect should be the same as Vali is Running a wireless AXS trigger up left on her Cockpit interface. The light probably is an indicator on what mode is currently enabled, lighter to spot than the lights top of the cartridge.

Hi all, here's Part 2 of my China Cycle 2025 MTB coverage. If you're enjoying these, please subscribe, as I have more to come.
I have a question regarding the 2 chainz style drivetrains and e-bikes. I know almost nothing about e-bikes so maybe what I'm about to describe already exists.
Will we see e-bikes that have a motor setup similar to the Specialized DH bike with 2 chains? Meaning, instead of e-bike motors essentially being built around the bottom bracket and using a conventional chainring to connect to the rear hub/cassette, could the motor have it's own independent drive ring/sprocket that's not connected to a chainring or centered around the BB. This could allow for different suspension layouts that perform better because designers aren't constrained by the normal BB/Chainring to rear hub connection. I realize for it to actually be an e-bike, there would also need to be a connection between the cranks to the motor/drive sprocket, but maybe that could be done somehow inside the motor housing, similar to the "box" that's seen on the Specialized DH frame.

Does this already exist? Impractical? Am I high?
You just described Rocky Mountain's powerplay drivetrain.
Question... with all of this weight being added to DH bikes... is there a market for an ISCG mounted chain guide product that has modular weights/ballast to add?
Hrm... all of this has me thinking about using the in frame storage on my nomad to have a sock full of lead weight, wrapped in neoprene to slip in there for bike park days. Bonus points for being able to carry what equates to a blackjack with me to fend off bike theives.

I've been on an EMTB since fall, I've gotten used to and prefer the added weight in the BB area. Now with the parks opening I'd love to add weight to my park bike in the same area. Not the weight difference between the 2 bikes but enough to feel the lower, higher mass. A clean, easy way to do that would be great. On the flip side, I wouldn't want that weight on anything I gotta pedal as it's really only going to benefit you when pointed down.
In the spirit of professional athletes reliably falling for any old nonsense, I'm going to go with chromotherapy.
Remember when pros were putting those "anti vibration" stickers all over their bikes because they contained magical crystals or electronic circuits or something?
From one of the manufacturers:
"If materials with different electron leakage work are brought into contact, a contact potential difference is formed. This represents a voltage that causes the electrons with a lower electron work function to pass into the material that has a higher electron work function. The natural frequency of a material is therefore dependent on the elasticity modulus as well as the density and length of the material. A Wizard Sticker does not change the density or weight of the material, but the electricity modulus."

Rampage RS. It was announced at sea otter

What if we venmo you $3.76 to keep them up?
Bidding war over spy shots, community vs brands.
$3.77 and i'll consider. PIT BITS from Poland are up. Some bling, some electrogadgets, some Maxxis protos, weight watchers, diapers and more.

Does anyone know what this light on Vali's bike is about?
Also shimano got a patent of a gearbox 👀 (from the other site)
Big 2002 and we're just throwing shit at the wall era bike design vibes

it turns blue
Is it just me, or is the covered Orbea dh-proto in the Pit Bits Gallery a high-pivot bike???
Also, the pic of the frame from Aon Racing pits - is this a Gamux Horst link frame?
Bit of a better view of of the “Brembo” callipers (last pic)
New coating as well on the stanchions. Doesn't look to be Kashima as there's an Ohlins logo engraved behind each one below the top crown
One of the first pictures of the Gamux under Reece was a Horst link variant, it's been known for a while.

In former days, Homer need safety gear to handle it...
Someone mentioned a new dual boa specialized flat shoe…. Anyone know when to expect those to launch?

TRP Powered by Brembo? Those MC look uncanny.

Marshy with some sick pedal removal/installation wisdom!

$350 for 12, please.
