Any info on where Danny Hart is off to next season? He must have a stack of UCI points and some teams in need of points could do with them? His performance this season warrants a bigger team ride.
Norco?
Rissveds to Canyon.
What happen to Team31?
MUTN podcast mentioned Giant and a relaunched Giant DH program. Not sure how that works, but they said something about him being back on a brand he had success with.
Matt and Eddie have no DHI pioints to offer, because EDR does not count as UCI points.
Jenna has no points either, in the last 2 seasons she was injured. Negotiations could be difficult with the beloved manager.
So signing a women and another male would help a lot to increase the team points.
BK owns Pivot Factory Racing, gets support from Pivot. There’s nothing for him at norco
There is talk of combined gravity points, which would mean DH and EDR both count toward the team ranking. That would make Morgane the most valuable member of the Pivot squad by far.
That wasn’t being implied, a rumour of another rider to norco with the initials BK
I assumed it was Bernard, no one calls Bodhi Kuhn BK , or maybe it’s not even referring to Bodhi lol I dunno 🤷🏼♂️
Jep, I hope so too… that Gravity Points include EDR and DHI points.
Just getting rid of extra bikes or...?
Just watched Bernard Kerr YouTube video from the other day. Scary that his team needs more UCI points when all but Jenna did every race. Ryan might have been injured the last couple races but even so. 3 juniors, 3 elites and 2 EDR cross with some DH events and they don’t have enough points?? So what does that mean for teams like Gwin Racing? AG got a small team , Cube was a smaller team and there so many others. UCI and Warner really messing things up.
I'm guessing that the Bernard in Indonesia thing means that for some reason the Enduro points aren't counting for the team rankings? Pivot have a pretty strong showing in EDR or have I missed something? Did I hear somewhere that only the world champs in Enduro give UCI points ?
Just watching BKs vlog from the event and it looks really cool and it's great for the organizer's and riders that a couple of world cup riders are there but from a world cup qualification perspective, the idea that getting a top result there is worth more than a 31st in the semi final at val de sol is pretty far from ideal .
It would not be surprising if AG focused on Monster Pro Downhill Series, wild card World Cup entries, and world champs next year. He seems to want to start a family with his wife and focus on his other business ventures, so staying closer to home would make sense.
I think it was on MUTN that they said only Enduro World Champs had UCI points, maybe @George Thompson can chime in? He also had a list of the top teams by points...
It's the same here in the UK for DH on a national level, UCI points for the National Champs race, but nothing for the national series. Is it the same for you guys in other countries?
The EDR points thing is confusing to me; why no UCI points for the series races? DHI the series races and World Champs have UCI points afaik so why is EDR different?
Canadian National series offers points on top of the National Champs.
I think the old UK downhill series used to have UCI points , I seem to remember at the time there was a cost to having the event UCI sanctioned and it was hard enough to break even for the organisers without kicking up to the UCI .
It’s odd too that if the team needs points, why not have the whole team? It was just BK and Jenna
Side note. Whatever town/city they were in looked really nice and made me want to visit
I agree that it’s definitely not ideal and the points structure is wack, but it might be a positive for events like this. Having top pros show up at these regional-level events could be great for them.
My understanding of it is that the teams standing is made up of the points of the riders for next season . so putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5 , possibly the pivot team might look different next year .
It looks to me that brands are cutting back on B teams and probably Enduro to support the costs of a more expensive DH world cup season . It's hard to imagine that Chris Ball didn't see this as a possibility , which as one of the founders of world level Enduro racing seems a bit of a 2 fingers up to Enduro .
More than a few fingers up to enduro,
Enduro is dead Wait a few more weeks for some no more team announcements ⏰
What are the odds that BK is getting an appearance fee for this race in Indonesia? UCI points are a side benefit.
Oh it's dead again, so both EDR and E-EDR are dead now? Just making sure we all are on the same page here.
This seems to be very likely.
I would have said that was not the case, however we may easily downplay the size of that market (people and money).. I still dont think so but this race had a livestream, with good coverage you could mute it and think it was a world cup of the past season.. so there is power to get some appearance fees in front of people..-> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blJoiGxQvcs&pp=ygUcaW5kb25lYXNpYW4gZG9u…
Sure. As far as I'm aware, no one knows if enduro counts for anything at the moment. I have been living under a rock for last week or so though a decision might've been made in that time.

Could also be attempting to the YouTube algorithim, got to keep dropping regular content. He had the Red Bull urban race a few weeks ago, which didn't seem to be his thing but he was a welcome addition.
As his USP is the insider view of the racing, he's going to have to go racing year round.
Presumably he's doing Hardline-down-under, plus the early Crankworx. And Jenna might want to go home at some point (it must be so hard for the Southern hemisphere riders in a Euro/NA dominiated sport).
Doubt we'll see them in UK/Europe until spring.
Danny Hart has sorted his sister out with a new Mondraker......could he be returning?
I noticed on Neko Mulally's Instagram he mentions having the bike riding like butter for the boys. Cami Balanche commented something about "and the girl too". An exchange of winky emoji's followed. Could that be a hint at Cami's future or just some friendly banter to fuel rumors?
