Could we see the first Asa battle against the elites?
that young man has already battled against elites before , now he just would see more of them coming his way.; )
He raced against them last year at the US open
Loris is quite a quiet bamf
The field last year wasn’t this stacked. It’s raining hard now at Killington but then 3 days of sun. The track should really shape up!
Right? He's won what, 10 elite World Cups and I don't know how many podiums, Jr, and Elite Worlds, Euro Champs...
One of the things I miss most about Dialed are the bits w/ Loris, really enjoyed hearing/seeing him talk about his racing and trainig and, to your point, it's not something he seems inclined to do on his own
Lake Placid XC course preview, seems they've tried to make it "fun" to ride as well as physically taxing. We'll see how it pans out when they put tires in the dirt...
That looks fun. Maybe even with blood in your lungs and your heart in your throat fun...
Love when a 3 min "track preview" video is a few still shots of the course and some dude talking at the lens for 1.5 elapsed minutes time.
Muddy.
should be time stamped past the 'vlogging' and straight to track walk... basically halfway through
Maaaaan, anyone else tired of mud races this year?
As a viewer from the comfort of my work from home office which is also my living room? Not really haha All the weather at WC's this year has made for some insane displays of bike handling skills, contrasted by the unlucky few who have got the short end of the stick with changing conditions. I kinda like the drama though.
I think this weekend we are on track for consistent conditions as we build towards race day. Unless I just jinxed everyone....
XC action from Lake Placid training...looks like more slip n'slide is on the menu :-)
It won’t be a mud race. Maybe for practice today, but only the new man made stuff. The rest of the course is so worn in, I doubt it will be affected. That was the first significant rain up here in a long time. Been a dust bowl for a while now. Plus sun today, tomorrow and Sunday. Course should be perfect by Sunday, if not tomorrow.
Angel and Neko said on WynTV that Asa is not racing the US Open or MSA next weekend as he recovers from the crash in Loudenvielle. Bummer.
Is there somewhere showing the rider list for the US Open given it's this weekend? I tried to google it but couldn't find anything.
Would really like to see the start list for qualifying tomorrow. I can't get there Sunday so I was going to check it out on Saturday and don't want to miss the top dogs in qualifying.
Course preview for this weekend with Needles and Luca. Wild how quickly the track has dried out.
I love how wide they've taped it, line choice city!
The 2024 Fox US Open start list is finally here, and the Open categories are more stacked than ever!
Shout out to the US open organizers for putting the last names in alphabetical order so I can actually find athletes I am looking for.
East Coast cat 1 old guys have to comPEAT with a former world champ!! HAHAHA
Looks like Jackson may be back 😳
for a sec I thought Kaos was in that group as well.
Speaking of... Are they doing some kinda AirDH one off event or just classing Kaos differently within the same race?
Also, JACKSON? Bummed he was not healthy enough for worlds. But wondering if he's testing the waters to sus out an MSA return to defend his 'title'. What a cool event this is. Wish I was there.
Different class in the same race
Anyone know what time qualifying for pro starts, it says 1pm but not sure if pro's are going first???
Thanks for anyone that has the answer!
They’re doing a freerider class for the DH race.
we still never got to see a flip at a uci race. kaos said if he qualied in snowshoe (2019?) he'd flip the first jump instead of the skip everyone was doin
the tomfoolery he pulls on the old rampage course when it was more trick jumps and less youtube click bait shit was epic. ya im missin kaos n kade at the WCs
