I know you can run a reach adjust headset pretty easily, but I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't have an integrated reach adjustment like the new V10 or Glory.
I do also wonder why they went with that a 49mm headtube as opposed to 56mm, which is a bit more common and would offer more space for aftermarket geo adjustment.

Yeah, don't know the rationale behind not having integrated reach adjustment. Maybe they don't think it's a big enough issue. Works and Wolftooth make 2-degree angle headsets that will work with a 49-49 HT, and Works make a 7mm reach offset headset for that HT as well. I do like the adjustable dropouts.
Im still annoyed that DH frames that can fit waterbottles dont come with the mounts, makes park laps so much more enjoyable not being thirsty in the heat.
Also, holy rear centre length batman! S3 has a 460 rear centre BEFORE sag, that is one long as rear end.
yeah I love a Long CS, but those are insanely long considering the axle moves back another 20+mm at sag!
Actually its not as bad as it seems at all
The S3 has a 460 chainstay and 1295 wheelbase (im assuming the reported numbers aren't at sag values)
At sag, that gives a 480 chainstay and 1315 wheelbase, giving a front centre of 835, and a FC/RC ratio of 1.74
At maximum length it has a 34mm extension of the chainstay, so 494 chainstay, 1329 wheelbase, FC/RC ratio of 1.69
So actually pretty balanced overall.
In my opinion that is a lot better balanced geometry than the mega long Poles at their like with 1.85+ FC/RC ratios
446 chainstay, 1281 wheelbase, +16mm at sag, so 462, 1297, FC/RC of 1.80
at max its 476, 1311 wheelbase, FC/RC of 1.75
So overall the Supernought will be more FC/RC balanced than the dreadnought, obviously riders prefer different styles and the suspension itself is somewhat polarizing.
But given those ratios you can say its a long bike, but the chainstay isn't anything super crazy, or in my opinion, not as crazy as other brands FC ratio

It's likely due to clearance since they're recommending 46mm OS Crowns. If you have ever tried to run short OS DC on a chunky carbon HT there's not much steering angle clearance. I would imagine a carbon 56mm straight HT would hit 46mm boxxer crowns pretty quickly.

My current bike is 1340 wheelbase and 462mm Chainstay, you could have a cup of tea while bombing a fire road it's that stable, takes some getting used to but front end grip is incredible.

its worth remembering that the CS gets longer as the bike compresses, so while there are longer CSs out there, they may end up feeling similar as you cycle the suspension.
Personally I like a long CS, so I'm curious to hear how people get along with this bike
They are actually pretty awesome! I already own a LH4 and my LHT is on order. Actually they are a lot different from Trickstuff brakes. They have a adjust for the mechanical leverage ratio and different piston sizes

These brakes have me curious, initially saw everyone calling them shit aliexpress copies but now seeing more and more people claim they're legitimately good.
Saw Alex from wolfpack adventures YT vouching for them but he seemed like a salesman in that video so still skeptical, would like to see some real reviews/comparison tests.
People on this forum were calling them shit aliexpress copies, but the Aliexpress ones are completely different, ~100 € for a pair, sold under the Onirii brand on Ali and under the Clarks banner in the UK. Those have a monoblock caliper for example.
The Lewis variant is not available on Aliexpress (at least it wasn't) and takes a lot of inspiration from the Trickstuff... stuff. And they are more expensive.
I said at the time they are different, but I was adamantly told it's the same brake. @ncerni has all of them, the Onirii Aliexpress brakes and the Lewis brakes in both 4 and 2-piston variants. He is also the friend I said at the time has them.
I haven't tried any of them, but everybody in the friend circle that has tried the 4-piston Lewis model completely and utterly raves about them.

Look up zoom hb 910 brakes. Few subtle differences but same overall product. Most likely the manufacturer of these brakes allows customisation for a cost

May I request to snuff this fire? We have already discussed this and quite frankly, its almost as bad as some of the ebike motor comparison debates. Hate to be that guy but…

Because it's chinese? Hate to break it to you, but when it comes to road stuff, carbon wheels and mechanical drivetrain groups from China appear to be pummeling western products into the ground. I don't think it's a good idea to wholly dismiss overseas stuff and development...

No no. It was just that we had discussed it already and it was just people claiming one set of brakes was the same/different as another over pictures. It seemed argumentative by some parties than a genuine discussion. Thats all.

Out of curiosity, what products are you referring to exactly, and what products are they "pummelling"

Yeah this has me curious too. To be honest I see people post about these semi legit Chinese components and wonder where the hell people find this stuff. Haha
Mechanical groupsets for road bikes (the stuff that basically doesn't exist from classical 'western' brands anymore...) is tested all over YouTube. Don't have a heartbeat on it, a but a friend of mine is very convinced they will make massive inroads on the market share sooner rather than later. One running theory is that Sram will focus on the high end, high margin stuff (AXS) and leave the lower, mechanical end to the Chinese.
For wheel, Peak Torque is testing loads of them from different brands and does the nitty gritty on them, aero and stiffness testing, taking a close look at the bearings, not saving words when something's not right, etc.
It’s Jeremiah Boobar’s (ex SRAM Blackbox) new company. I think Dan Booker was using one when he got 2nd at the Maydena EDR this year.

They took it to the next level:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibu9fvZZ32I
Heres a one off / prototype I made for myself that after some interest I will be doing a small batch of, Enjoy!
Its a seatpost steepening shim:
Reduces effective top tube length by 8-10mm (at 350mm extension from collar)
Specs:
30.9mm to 34.9 mm
Actual seatpost angle : ~ +1.0 degree
Effective seatpost angle : ~ +0.6 degree
Maximum :~280mm (Full depth on a 2020 Enduro)
https://www.instagram.com/zencomponents
No more adjustable headsets, Im adjusting my seatpost angle - Scott will find a way to put cables through it aswell.

That's brilliant. No creaking? I'd love to give one of those a try, if you decide to sell some and will ship to the US.
I'm assuming this could be turned 180 degrees to slacken a seat angle as well? Some bikes take seat angle to the extreme.

For those of you who might be interested, I've made a comparison here of the Supernought vs the Range with a WRP link.

Absolutely
Thanks! No creaks
Happy to ship to the US, I'll keep you/the forum updated but expecting a final batch within a month or two.
