Sure did. Though I’m not on board with short travel e-bikes personally. If it has a motor it might as well have 160mm plus imo. I was actually hoping for a new sight. But at least there’s no cable tourism
If the link is on the chainstay, it's a 6 bar. If it's on the seatstay, it's a linkage driven 4 bar (ala Polygon).
Just been watching Dailed and noticed Rachel is back on the Trickstuff brakes this weekend
She probably ordered them 18 months ago and they just got delivered
leogang bike abuse slowmo
She was on her e-bike, probably with last year parts
New AXS rocker on Nino's bike?
That's interesting!
Makes a lot of sense. I noticed that quite a few pro-XC riders are running the original AXS shifters and OG rocker paddle with Transmission rather than the new pod. Me, I switched out to the optional rocker pretty quickly and am curious to see how the new pods feel in comparison.
I just got the e-Mail from Norco too.
Looks like a new leightweight full-carbon e-bike then. Maybe Fluid VLT. Very weird move coming from a brand that has made a name for themselves caring about descending perfromance and handling first. I'm also not too excited about the fact that it's an e-bike to be honest, especially not about the stupid "eMbRaCe ThE eVoLuTiOn" marketing. No, mate. Hard pass on e-bikes.
But cool to see them switch to Continental tires.
I hated the Transmission pod and switched back to the original after a couple of rides, here's hoping the new rocker works better for me.
Didn't this happen w/ the AXS Eagle pod too? They released a revision very quickly after the launch?
I dont understand what they are trying to achive, mechanical shifting ergonomics are pretty dialled, even Etap ergonomics closelly mimic doubletap... While mtbiking there is even more need for a tactile feeling, operating a pair of levers, even if it is a short trow/soft click MUST be at least one of the offerings. They just need to "replicate" their mechanical shifting logic really.
Last gen rocker was not half bad IMHO
Or literally just make 2 small buttons on the bar to the left of the grip. Like the Zirbel offering
Rather than whinging, be the change you’d like to see in the world. Nothing stopping you from designing, prototyping, building, testing, patenting, advertising, and selling your own. I look forward to the opportunity of trying it…
Except millions of dollars, a lot of time and a bunch of patents.
@Sonofbovril2 buttons to the left of the grip sound much less ergonomic than a shifter pod under the handlebars if it's meant to be shifted using your thumb...
They should stuff one of the haptic feedback motor things that Apple uses on Trackpads into the shift buttons… those things are crazy convincing!
Although I’d personally prefer a mechanical shifter and derailleur any day of the week.
Id quite like a shifter that i can shift with my Index finger only. we can already do it one way but why not both?
id happily pay big money that that - i hate having to move my thumb and put unnatural pressure on my thumb joint.
you want those Shimano mtb brifters from 10 (?) years ago…hand jive all day long!
haha, id like an electric version thats just a small rocker - ive never been a fan of modern shifter design.
Wonder if i could 3d print a mount to reverse the AXS one with a custom rocker...
Time to get to work haha
Hello everyone! I´m Vicente from Chile and I need your help!
THIS HAS BEEN EDITED BY ADMINS - vicente, i deleted your last post about this. tech rumors isn't that place for your help message. start your own thread please. - gordo
F*ck me this thread gets derailed so easily. Who cares about the difference in electronic shifter paddles. Who knows when we’re getting a 200mm AXS reverb?
Then develop, and build it!
it’s a great idea, go after it
Nothing but roadblocks from you eh….
well with my 3d printer i can LOL
Was this one mentioned here? Just lost the overview
....
Yup, a photo has been shown and it has been mentioned that it should already have been released. There's apparently a delay and supposedly it's holding up releases of new bikes as well.
Could this be it? Or just a xx, xx sl or xo in for long term test
Given the language, I say it (so gx). So I guess it's a matter of days?
New Norco Fluid VLT,
What's on the rear vale?

Based on a Bosch equipped e-bike I was testing out just over a week ago, I'd say the speed sensor (there was no magnet to be seen on the rear wheel). Might be wrong though.
