My brain is not braining right now. Either there is a hidden link somewhere or it has indeed flexstays (the silhouette of the seatstays suggests so). The lack of a rear pivot fooled me before but it's a very interesting design I admit.

Since the chainstay is connected to frame through two links rather one pivot, I'm not sure if the whole design fits into flex stay because I guess that affects how the swingarm moves through the travel.
Take a look at the Athertons bikes that are dw link6. They have a chainstay pivot. The way this moves through the travel requires at least some flexing. Careful pivot placement can make the flex very small, but present nevertheless.

So if the lowers are compatible with the Zeb CSU we can build 20mm single crowns again!
They're onto a plastic shroud; I don't think we're ever getting a look at what's under it now (just like Bruni's mystery shock)
Looking at this photo reminds me of the deviate. Forbidden built an upside down Horst for the new druid, this kind of seems like an upside down FSR with a link rotating around the BB (like the Highlander or Claymore).
Definitely no.
they fit together but I believe the seals would crash into the crown by a substantial amount.
The boxxer lower crown is much flatter and thinner than a single crown.
They have done it in the past and came back to the original design. Let's see how long this one lasts.
It fits 19 and 21 inch wheels. Modern Mtb wheels are 23 and 24.5in. However, mtb tyres are smaller so the overall diameter of wheel plus tyre for 650b (23in rim) is around 28in which is the same a 21in MX rim with a 90/100. So I think if you run 650b front wheel it'll be fine. If you want to run bigger then you'd need a custom crown. I think most riders won't do it due to the 4.5kg weight. I looked at the spec and it's pretty much a Manitou Dorado copy and probably way more expensive.

The rear tire on Sam Hill's Nukeproof doesn't look like a production Michelin tire !
In other tech news, Privateer has been working on a DJ/pump track frame/build it seems: https://www.privateerbikes.com/collections/privateer-dj101.
Öhlins XC stuff released
That looks bad-ass (wonder about mud in the seatstays/chainstays tho...)
another pit bits gallery in the works. some early highlights as i build it (demo and pivot close-ups)

No need for a bash guard with these covers at least.
Yeah, a piece of inner tube surely makes for a wunderbashguard!!
Here is my Picasso approach on the system:
when you zoom in, there's definitely pivots on the yoke above the BB, and the 3 bolts behind the BB lead me to believe there is a link concentric to the BB
So something like this?
similar-ish idea to old world force, just w/o huge rocker? or not even close? (i realize we can't see the details)
Bikerumor got a bit of the scoop on the mondraker. one of the things is a modular BB shell to allow different BB locations:
Well everyone is out here speculating on the shock layout, have we talked about how it looks to use the seatstay from the enduro? Always been interested by specialized running the narrower hub standard on their downhill bikes (135mm back in the day, 148mm now).
I was thinking, could it be some sort of dw6 as well? Didn't anyone mention they can change the axle path with different links? Can't do that with a regular horst, unless they are swapping the upper link or the stays.
Oh well, I can always just polish the 26" Lyrik and 36 collection and dream of what could have been.
