Anyone have any inside info on Megatower 2 release date? I was hoping today, but nothing so far……
A Tuesday later this month I believe, not the last Tuesday and not next Tuesday. Press camp was done before the first World Cup.

I'm no big Intense fan in any way but why should they bother. I mean the frames arrived late at the riders and they need time on them. So I guess a quick turnaround time for new parts is better than having those look refined.

And to be honest that thing looks a bit hideous but looks properly machined.
What? Who said anything about how it looks? I couldn't care less.

All i'm saying is that they were probably bending the shit out of them, which is why we're seeing so many. It looks like they're discovering this in real-time.

why not?
Because Dave Camp is a RockShox suspension engineer, and says not to.

I'd trust him over some forum 'experts' any day.

I'm fairly certain that since the rebound adjuster is situated there, that there's an oil circuit passing through. That's gonna get you a 250psi jet of 7wt right in the eye.

The shaft is capped at the eyelet end and sealed with an o-ring near the main piston bolt. It has a small diameter o-ring thats in position to stop muck seizing the rebound rod movement up. The only way the rebound rod can be removed is to pull it out from the piston bolt end.

Excited for the conti line. The ss dh argotal should be a killer intermediate tire. Been hoping for a beefier baron since it came out.

Those new Conti tires might have the worst MTB product names I can think of. I haven't even looked at the tread design because I'm so transfixed by how bad the branding is.

And the age old problem of "want a light casing? Hard rubber for you. Want it soft? Heavy casing only"...

Doesn't anyone want a hard wearing heavy casing rear tyre or a light casing soft rubber front??

I have had this issue on an almost brand new bike. I guess they haven't used Loctite on that end of my shock and it unthreaded itself because of the coil. Oil leaked, I didn't understand what was going on at first, then I got it and went to my LBS and they fixed it for me, also put some proper Loctite on the thread.

120% thought the same thing when they were leaked. Surely someone in their marketing department knows how awkward those words are to pronounce for people who speak certain languages (never mind just English) and how hard it is to remember which tyre is for what type of terrain/conditions.

Spending huge money to fail at the easiest of hurdles Conti
